KE04AG Posted June 7, 2009 Author Report Posted June 7, 2009 No mate no turbo! And no they are not the wheels going on it. They are for a commodore I think. I'll be running billets mate. Quote
HIGH ROLLER Posted June 17, 2009 Report Posted June 17, 2009 looking great Jas, as always... would have to be the best ke20 out, and it's not even trimmed yet. but i know once it's done it will be top notch, worth your 7 year wait i'm sure...haha Mark Quote
KE04AG Posted June 22, 2009 Author Report Posted June 22, 2009 Hey thanks Mark! I took my car to the trimmers on the weekend. I planned on getting the exhaust done before it went but the trimmer had a spot in his shop for me. Otherwise it wouldn't have gone until later in the year. The colour I have chosen for the trim is going to be a matter of opinion! Will post pics soon. Quote
HIGH ROLLER Posted June 23, 2009 Report Posted June 23, 2009 Sounds like controversy! is it pink? or red? or orange like the car? too much suspense... you entering Summernats 2010? Mark Quote
KE04AG Posted June 23, 2009 Author Report Posted June 23, 2009 No mate not entering Summernats! I want to try and debut at Al palmer's Toyota Show next year. You are pretty close with your guesses too mate!! Have to organise stereo and gauge panel for the trimmer. And buy billet accessories. Quote
HIGH ROLLER Posted June 23, 2009 Report Posted June 23, 2009 i am? wow, thats massive controversy... fair enough, an all toyota event where it'll be properly appreciated. you never know, mine might be ready too.... :) Quote
KE04AG Posted June 28, 2009 Author Report Posted June 28, 2009 Bought my stereo yesterday. All Jvc gear. 4 inch 150watts for the front, 300 watt 6x9's for the rear, and an amp. Nothing too flash just wanted something half decent to listen to while cruising. Cleaned the cabin so the trimmer can start. He should have the roof lining done tommorrow. Ran the speaker wires, cleaned up the under dash area. Spent some time cleaning the quarter windows and a few other trims. Quote
HIGH ROLLER Posted June 29, 2009 Report Posted June 29, 2009 where you going to run the front speakers Jas? door pods? Mark Quote
KE04AG Posted June 30, 2009 Author Report Posted June 30, 2009 Under the dash mate. Oh yeah thanks for lending me your sunvisors mate, I put them back in your car. Quote
HIGH ROLLER Posted July 1, 2009 Report Posted July 1, 2009 that was quick! no dramas... so do you mean under the dash, as in the factory location? Quote
KE04AG Posted July 2, 2009 Author Report Posted July 2, 2009 Under the dash at the sides near the top of the kick panels mate. Was at the trimmers last night. He has done the roof lining, parcel shelf and the dash top. Quote
greenmac80 Posted July 20, 2009 Report Posted July 20, 2009 ami seeing the brake lines correctly.? or not seeing em?? :) i take it the brake lines are fed thru the firewall? if yes then how will that go with roadworthy and defect issues? i love the idea...... wouldn't mind using it with my build...... tricky? Quote
KE04AG Posted July 22, 2009 Author Report Posted July 22, 2009 Yeah guys the brake lines run out of the master cylinder then into the firewall, through the inside of the firewall and pop out at bottom of the inner guards. Not sure about defects, but engineer i spoke to a few years ago said it will be okay. Quote
