Well, suffice to say the motorkhana wasn't one of my best events. I've discovered that I have lost my motorkhana mojo of late. Or maybe rallying sucks it out of you. But how do you explain Redwarf. Right, back ontopic.

So, in two words or less: I sucked! I CAN'T do handbrake turns anymore!! *stamps foot* Then again, my day didn't suck as much as Fook's so I'll stop whingeing. Other things learnt:

1. Mumblezz is far too FAST for his own good. Although his enthusiasm (read: drifting) isn't altogether always suited to the test but what-the-hey, I bet he has the best time out of all of us!! :)

2. Teddy is the BEST cheer squad you could ever ask for. Even when you suck at a test, he will appear at your window encouraging you to do better next time (does that guy EVER stop smiling?) =)

3. Even when a half shaft in your Datsun mashes at the universal joint making cool colours in the metal, your day isn't over. As we were pushing the car over to the trailer, some other 1600 gurus came running after us going "wait, don't give up, we have spare half shafts!". 2.67 seconds later, there are stands under my car, 3 or 4 rollaclub members chipping in and helping. I am back in businees by the next motorkhana test. THANKS guys. :)

4. Fook was very generous and lent me his road tyres to burn out on the motorkhana tests. Or maybe he had just seen my form all day and wasn't worried. Hmm :)

5. Driving home with a connection to alternator off and losing battery power is not good. I was driving in the pouring rain - no lights, windscreen wipers breaking the slowest windscreen wiper-ers award and bald front tyres - down right scary :D

6. Redwarf in Bluedwarf is driving God. Nuff said.

But how do you explain Redwarf

Who knows? But while we're on the topic of absolute legend status, how do you explain Mumblezz?

A *HUGE* we-are-not-worthy to both of you :)

As for point 4 from Datgirl: No worries, it's not like I don't abuse them :) Would you believe they have less than 5000k's on them? You probably would have had more fun with my motorkhana tyres (what with having zero grip) but I couldn't have you drive home on them, you would have been spinning up your wheels in 5th gear, and doing 360's everytime a corner came in sight...

I have some photos to upload from the day, but haven't gone through all of them yet... When I do I'll post some up. Bluedwarf needs new suspension...

Ahh that was an AWESOME day !

Lets go from the top :) !

Paul - ROCK ON ! oh hell yea - if all guys your age could control a car they way you do, I'm sure insurance for under 20's wouldnt be so bad. But then again you do like the gas lol - but hot dammm you do it with style !

Mel - you go girl ! Ahhh every one has there good and not as good runs - i really liked the run you did when the car shat it self at the end - it was looking SWEET untill *bang* - Ohh crap, it was going really well, and liturally 2 M from the finish too ! - You have potential and *keen-ness* (is that a word? / Meh it is now!); keep it up & you + the car will go far !

Fook - that Really sucks, but I'm glad you got to the event safe and sound, I'm sure you wil get it all fixed up sooner or later - good luck ! But I'm glad you came, it was an great day anway !

Finally, The guy with the best personality / insanely fine tuned Rally skills in any RWD car - Mr Dixon !

*insert drulage here*

To every one who didnt know, this is the first time rob has used this car (the Blue Dwarf) in a motokahna series. He was able to controle this car like bathoven was able to controle his paino ! - It was really amazing to see how he could controle this car! Sure every one can improve in something - no one is 100% , but for any 1 wanting to get into the sport, *watch this guy! & take notes* !

Welp, that ends my 2cents for this-evening.

Computer will be fixed---now(I'm on brothers computer) - and you can all relax, IE spell will be on the computer again !

Cheers

Was almost a good day.

The car performed 10 times better than the old one. Now I just need to spend more time going fast and less time going sideways.

Thanks for the kind words all. Unfortunatly not everyone appreciates my work as a friendly policeman decided that the queensland government needed $225 of my hard earned more than I did. He also gave my car a pretty yellow sticker to display with pride on my windscreen....

Thanks a lot you slimey c**t. How does it feel going to sleep at night knowing you are one of the most hated people on the planet. I do hope one day you find yourself getting friendly with the underside of a trucks tyres.

ahh now I feel better. Sorry for putting a dampener on the thread.

Yeah its fairly easy to fix the things listed on the fine but the windscreen will need replacing and i need to pull the diff out and change the fron guards. the hardest thing will be raising the car more as its as high as it goes ATM.

Will the ends of the cable ties also poke out someones eyes? Hmm... Sounds fairly silly to me, but then again apparently bonnet pins are also not legal for the same reason. Did he ping you for your engine conversion etc?
