Thanks man. Was the orange KE30 2 door yours??

Anyone know who owns that orange KE20? looked to be in fair condition, and happens to be what I am looking for as a project.

Cheers, Ben.

Nah sorry, I don't know who owns it. Didn't see the owners there anywhere when I was taking the photo's. It looked pretty shmick though!

I was with my uncle in his Dark Olive Green Ford Mustang 1970, so no the orange KE30 wasn't mine. I have a KE55 which is too new for Bay to Birdwood!

It was an awesome day!

"The "Run" is for motor vehicles built prior to the 1st of January 1956, the "Classic" is for vehicles built after January 1st 1956 and more than thirty years old. In both events the vehicles must conform as closely as possible to the manufacturers' specifications, be in a presentable condition, and roadworthy."

So its probably 1976, knowing me the maths isn't to good

The birdwood classic is for cars at least 30 years of age. So in 2009 for the next birdwood classic cars made before 1978 should be able to enter.

In SA cars that have their 30th birthday can then also go on the historic registration scheme that allows 90 days of use throughout the year for a discounted rate, conditions Apply.
