toyota_ae71 Posted September 25, 2007 Report Posted September 25, 2007 gday people went to buy diff face/cover from repco 2day and didnt have anu thing listed, and i desperatly need to change diff fluid. So do i have to have a gasket there or can i just put gasket silicone there instead? Quote
Taz_Rx Posted September 25, 2007 Report Posted September 25, 2007 (edited) Just make a gasket out of a corn flakes box! Cut to size and then lightly sand the shiny (printed) side to roughen it up a bit. :) LSR - I'm assuming he means the cover plate on the back of a salsbury or borg warner diff. As apposed to a banjo coming out the front. Edited September 25, 2007 by Taz_Rx Quote
