Hey all. I am in the process of modifying/fixing a KE30. I have a RA40 Parts car (purchased for $200) I am planning on using the Front struts/brakes/control arms and hubs on the front of my KE, and also fitting commodore wagon shock absorbers in the rear. I was wondering if there were any other modifications which are possible to RA40 front end and KE30 rear ends. For example different springs? Any help would be appreiciated, Cheers.

Since no ones replied yet, I recently put in Monroe front shock absorbers and bumper stops. Stiffened up the whole front a great deal  Not looking to put in King springs or anything like that until I can different rims or brakes. Cost me around $200

Let me know how the RA40 gear goes . . . interested in upgrading more myself :)

If you're going for the RA40 struts, try and find someone who can adjust the kingpin angle for you. You'll find that it'll put the front camber out of whack, even with the overdose sigma arms. Throw them in an alignment machine and you can make them work as well as standard struts.

BTW, people haven't replied because if you go hunting, you'll find this kind of stuff has been covered time and time again

Can some one help with what model sigma the lower arms are from.I have a Ke36 but I have used Corana 15mm wire lowered springs with the top bearing plate off an ( I think) Ae71. Which has an offset centre, but i still haven't achieved enough Negative camber , and still have to find a way to

increase stopping power. Someone was talking about a corona strut transplant? and another is experimenting with VR commodore discs . Got Any Ideas? I'm in SA.I would be most appreciative.

I love the shot of the 4WD Ke55.
