Taz_Rx Posted September 18, 2007 Report Posted September 18, 2007 As some of you may know, I just spent 10 days in NZ on a much needed holiday. On the first night I was in Christchurch, I was directed to a couple of car yards being "Indy Cars" and "Bling Bling Cars" which deal in Jap, and some Euro imports. Neadless to say....I was in ricer heaven!! :D The general variety is unreal - cars we never see, or have never heard of!! And then the price!!!! :) This out the front of Indy cars...... Line up goes something like:..... FD, evo, vr4, evo, tommy makkinen evo, STi, S15, STi, STi, STi, R32 (golf), A spec turbo forester! more pics to come once I have a ciggy! :P Quote
Taz_Rx Posted September 18, 2007 Author Report Posted September 18, 2007 I'll let the prices in the windscreens do the talking! :) No Lexus IS200's, only Altezza's :D note the rear wing... FX GT Quote
Taz_Rx Posted September 18, 2007 Author Report Posted September 18, 2007 Euro rice Good luck finding one of these in Aus!! LET ALONE AT THIS PRICE!! Tuffness Quote
Taz_Rx Posted September 18, 2007 Author Report Posted September 18, 2007 Fattness!!! More Euro rice.... This is just bullshit!!!! Thats it from the car yards, didn't take pics of the gazillion STi's and EVO's. Surprisingly there wasn't too many skylines, there was 1 nice 34 GTR with a HKS SPL51R through!! Oh, that white FD (S7) was $21990!! Quote
Taz_Rx Posted September 18, 2007 Author Report Posted September 18, 2007 Couple of other randon car piccies..... Shit pic I know, but this was horn! Didn't know these came in wagons!! :) And the only old skool rotor I saw the whole trip. Would have been fresh from the club racing I missed 2 days befor. Quote
Taz_Rx Posted September 18, 2007 Author Report Posted September 18, 2007 Oh, and this was porn.... I now also have a bit of a soft spot for a Toyota Caldina :) Me.....and the missus now want one for a family car. For any body who doesn't know, they're almost a smaller Stagea! AWD, Intercooled turbo 4 pot, and they were all manual unlike Stageas. They're slightly smaller than a camry wagon. This is the model I would get.... and the newest Caldina GT-Four, as seen on GT4 (mine did a 9.1 quarter!!!) Quote
smacko84 Posted September 18, 2007 Report Posted September 18, 2007 If someone had the money to start with it could be a bit of a money spinner. can't be a whole lot to get those over here and resale would be quite profitable. Quote
wasfishing Posted September 18, 2007 Report Posted September 18, 2007 (edited) how hard is it to import from NZ???????? i heard somewere on toymods that it was crazy exspensive to do mmmmm FD and that lil awd wagon is sick as Edited September 18, 2007 by wasfishing Quote
Jono Posted September 18, 2007 Report Posted September 18, 2007 if it wasn't expensive to do and make a profit, every man and his asshole would be doing it. i want that 8 series BMW for 27k! Quote
78_7kRolla Posted September 18, 2007 Report Posted September 18, 2007 I want that bmw 8 series as well! oh and i wouldn't mind that yellow is2000 as well! Quote
Nitephyre Posted September 18, 2007 Report Posted September 18, 2007 mmm, it'd almost be worth the move :) Quote
Raven Posted September 18, 2007 Report Posted September 18, 2007 There is an 8 series just like that sitting in a car yard in the city down here :) Quote
7shades Posted September 18, 2007 Report Posted September 18, 2007 (edited) mmm, it'd almost be worth the move :D No... it really wouldn't. I love NZ... been there a zillion times, but I couldn't live there. NZ accounts for 43% of AU's immigration intake... unrestricted imports are probably one of the ways the government tries to entice people to stay :) That, and very relaxed legislation re: Man/Beast love Edited September 18, 2007 by 7shades Quote
