Are you kidding? I was out racing in four or five races! What time did you turn up? I didn't go in the last few races. I saw your car down in the carpark at one point, but I can't remember if I raced after that. I was in the red Starlet that was going through the hairpin on three wheels, and at one point spun out on two wheels.

I didn't really get to see it as I only saw the backend of the car as you left. I've seen you coming the opposite way on the road, but one time you were behind another car, so I didn't see you until it was too late, and the other time was when we were having a big rain shower, and I could see bugger all, let alone details on your car.

And until you've had your car out on the track you can't comment on my lack of speed on track. Anyway, I was going so fast the back end over took the front end. Or was it that the backend got so bored with going so slow it overtook the front end???

Yes it's my Corolla. I'm asking $16,000, but will settle for $15,000 if someone makes an offer. Details are as follows:

2003 Corolla Seca Ascent (Seca = hatchback)

1.8L 4-cylinder engine

5-speed manual transmission

About 38,000km on the clock

Due for rego inspection on Feb 16 - I will put it through the inspection and get it re-registered for 6-12 months depending on the offer

I'm the second owner

The previous/first owner optioned the vehicle up with aircon, spoiler, sports suspension, sports muffler, full floor mats, and headlight protectors.

I'd prefer a quick sale, but can wait as long as it takes to get the right price, as the owner of my next car can hold onto it for quite a while yet.

Buy the car and I'll show you what I'm getting. :P

I wouldn't fancy anyone's chances of getting a non-ex-government 2003 Corolla for less than $15,000.

I've got 13's, 14's and 15's to choose from. I've also still got various wheels sitting around.

I don't really want to let anyone know what I'm looking at until I get it. Sorry to keep you in suspense, but it's worth it - although not everyone will agree.

Nah, no fun in telling. :hmm: It's definitely not a S4 RX-7 though. ;)

I've still got all the same wheels and tyres as previously.

4x 14x5.5 4x100

2x 14x5.5 4x114.3

4x 15x6.0 4x100 (prefer to keep these though)

As for tyres, there are 4x 175/75 R14 (big profile, but fine if it's just for burnouts and stuff), and 2x 195/60 R15.

Yes, it was a hint. No, it doesn't brap. Yes, I may just be being obtuse simply because I can be. There is now a chance we won't be getting it as Alisson is having doubts (even though if the new car continues to run fine we'll be better off financially).
