Yes, that's right - THE YELLOW COROLLA WILL RETURN TO HIDDEN VALLEY THIS SUNDAY!!! I'm aiming for a new PB. I'd like to see the yellow car lap quicker than the black one. My best times: Galant: 1min 44sec Starlet: 1min 41.5sec Lola: 1min 39.5sec Leila (black Corolla): 1min 37.8sec I don't know what power output the yellow Corolla has now, but it should be more than the black car, with less weight, more torque, although handling might be worse. Can't wait for Sunday. :cool: BTW, I also want to get a better lap time to make me even quicker than a bloke called Bilal who took his purple turbo Excel to the night meet. He got a best of 1min 43sec, so the Starlet is faster than him! But I really want to destroy his lap time. We'll see on Sunday I guess. :)

Turns out the ABV mod has NOT been done, it's just the piping on my car is laid out differently to the diagram I had (as far as I can make out anyway). The car will not idle when cold anyway, so we'll wait till we sort that out before upping the boost. Would hope to crack 100kW at the wheels with the boost mod. I'm amazed no one has checked out the Rides/Projects section and the video, audio, and dyno chart I've posted in the latest update there.

Yes, Bilal is employed at the same Coles store as where I work. Whether he works or not is another matter entirely. :) When I found out his best lap time, I went to chat to him about it at work, and commented that even the Starlet lapped faster. I told him what my lap times were, and he started making excuses about mis-shifts. I then found out that he went around afterwards saying that the only reason I beat him was that I'd been racing so many times. The problem is, when I took the Starlet out it was only my second time at the track! I chatted to him today and told him how much grunt the Corolla was making, and stated that I'd be going for a new personal best. He said he'd catch up to it, whatever it would be, but I told him that by the time he does that, I'll be going faster again. Deep down he knows it's true. 8/

Because if his track time is any true indication of his car, it's a piece of shit and a waste of money (the Starlet lapped two seconds faster). However he says he did a couple of mis-shifts and that's why his lap time was so crap. There was a 285kW Clubsport racing on Sunday and I closed the gap to his car by a fair old distance rather rapidly. He left before the third race, so I didn't really get to find out exactly how quick he was.

I can't wait till he brings his car down to Hidden Valley so I can wipe the grin off his ugly face. :) I've lined up a bigport head too, so I'm kind of considering putting that on the engine before next year. Probably won't though, but it's an option.

Hey adam i spoke to daniel and he said wen he brought the mr2 he had it dynoed n it had about 95kw atw, so i dunno maybe coz i hav less drive line n I'm a mr2 :)
