ancullen Posted October 11, 2007 Report Posted October 11, 2007 MY00 WRX STi rims. 16x7.0. Very nice. They're not mine yet - I need to confirm the deal first.
Pure-SX Posted October 11, 2007 Report Posted October 11, 2007 Very Nice **Borat Voice** Using them for track wheels?
Pure-SX Posted October 11, 2007 Report Posted October 11, 2007 What sort of guage wire would your father in law??? get? also with the legalities of relocating the battery. I have heard in some places it just needs to be in a battery box(the ones at marine shop/autobarn are not completely sealed) and in others have to be completely sealed?
ancullen Posted October 11, 2007 Report Posted October 11, 2007 Very Nice **Borat Voice** Using them for track wheels? Yep. What sort of guage wire would your father in law??? get? also with the legalities of relocating the battery. I have heard in some places it just needs to be in a battery box(the ones at marine shop/autobarn are not completely sealed) and in others have to be completely sealed? Needs to be in a battery box, but I don't think it has to be completely sealed. As for the gauge of wire, he'd make sure it's high quality (very thick) stuff, but it'll be a case of whatever he can get his hands on.
Pure-SX Posted October 11, 2007 Report Posted October 11, 2007 To easy, just got to get room in the boot :D Also as for the mounting. does it have to bolted through the floor of the car, or would a false floor suffice? Also would the box be needed to be vented to the outside cheers
ancullen Posted October 11, 2007 Report Posted October 11, 2007 Wouldn't have a clue - I've never tried to find out because I've never planned to rear mount a battery in a road registered car.
