Yeah I heard the same thing about Ed's RX2 I don't think he has the proper licence etc.

Not that I don't like pedders, just that I want more of a "performance" product etc. Pedders ain't the best lol.

I am sure L&S would be able to give me a few options. Its getting a suspension check next tuesday(They do it for free). Then after that I will most probably(99%)get them to fix what needs fixing along with fitting front/rear swaybars etc.

Would it be worth getting a front/rear strut brace also?(Already have the twinky one)

Damn, Adam is really busy at work, just isn't the same without him :P

Anyone know where I can get whiteline suspension gear cheap? I can get front/rear swaybars + front/rear strut braces for 850 ish straight from whiteline.

Bridgestone Eagle F1's are pretty good (like I was showing you at my place), and are quite cheap considering. 195/50 R15's can be bought for about $120 maximum.

As for the Hilux/Celica issue - was your mate having trouble putting it in gear with the engine off and without using the clutch? Because I can't put the Celica in fifth or reverse with the engine off & no clutch. The other gears are okay, but that seems to change. Previously it wouldn't go in any gear even with the engine off. We're changing the clutch fluid tonight, so we'll see how that goes. I'm hoping that'll fix it, as I REALLY want to go to the Off Street meet this Friday, and lap-sprinting on Sunday.

:P :no2: :D It'd be SOOO nice to have a KE10/KE20. I'd really love a KE20, but a KE10 would be nice too. And a certain person's 5K with twin carbs would go REALLY well in such a vehicle. REALLY well. :y:

Anyone who wants the following can come and take em.

2 5k bottom ends includes one hot cam

W50 gearbox (is on trailer about to go to the dump)

Lots a 4k stuff

Ohh and I won a $25 coupon for Tracy Village club for dinner :D haha

Adam do you still have that ae71? If so I will have a chat to you. I was thinking about it yesterday I may have come up with an idea

f@$k - I might have got the GT-Four in the paper if I'd been able to go (and had remembered). Yes I've still got the AE71, as discussed via email earlier today.

Anyone know where I can get whiteline suspension gear cheap? I can get front/rear swaybars + front/rear strut braces for 850 ish straight from whiteline.

AE82 swaybars are $560 (front & rear inc postage) if you just want a heavy duty rear swaybar. $648 if you want a blade adjustable heavy duty rear swaybar. And you'd need to specify if you've got swaybars on there standard or if you need the full install kit.

I might grab that W50 gearbox (just in case). Is it a steel case or alloy?

I can get the front swaybar and adjustable rear swaybar 548.30 including postage straight from whiteline.

Or I can get the front swaybar and adjustable rear swaybar and front and rear strut braces from whiteline for 971.50 inc postage

Those are Whiteline swaybars, bought BRAND NEW from one of my suppliers.

As stated in my previous post, the swaybars are $560 for front and rear INCLUDING postage for the non-adjustables. $648 for the set with the adjustable rear swaybar INCLUDING postage. I presume this company have found better freight than Whiteline can, hence you must only be paying about $50-100 freight vs. $423.20 from Whiteline. I know which way I'd be going. :P

Might be worth a try - but those prices will be hard to beat. I've been comparing prices for quite a while for myself. This was the cheapest company I could find. I didn't check with Autobarn though. I've always found that freight through companies like Autobarn and Independant Automart have always been quite expensive, unless you can get it in a regular run, which I've never been able to do on special order parts like this. Give it a go though - I'd be interested in knowing their price and postage.

WTF??? I thought I'd made it clear as day.

$560 = front & rear non-adjustable swaybars INCLUDING postage

$648 = front non-adjustable and rear adjustable swaybar INCLUDING postage

Please let me know what prices (and postage) Autobarn give you when you've got them.
