This was sad, I was going to Karama shops Sunday lunchtime and saw a couple of young blokes towing a KE10? ke20 to the dump. I had a quick look and saw that the front chasis rails were rusted out, I was so close to getting them to tow it to my place anyway (I'm not allowed any more corollas and have been told to get rid of a couple). I was going to offer it around as a giver, you might still be able to go to the Shoal bay dump and get it, before it goes to Sims. It's alot and I mean alot of work though.

The ke10/ke20? I believe I saw it also in that little area where people used to sell cars just outside of Karama.

Cruise was fun :no2: Tim(zmit) led a few of us on a scenic route through the city.

I guess I should check the vin lol, but AFAIK its an ae82 pew pew. Came with a 4ac

Bridgestone Eagle F1's are pretty good (like I was showing you at my place), and are quite cheap considering. 195/50 R15's can be bought for about $120 maximum.

As for the Hilux/Celica issue - was your mate having trouble putting it in gear with the engine off and without using the clutch? Because I can't put the Celica in fifth or reverse with the engine off & no clutch. The other gears are okay, but that seems to change. Previously it wouldn't go in any gear even with the engine off. We're changing the clutch fluid tonight, so we'll see how that goes. I'm hoping that'll fix it, as I REALLY want to go to the Off Street meet this Friday, and lap-sprinting on Sunday.

:P :no2: :D It'd be SOOO nice to have a KE10/KE20. I'd really love a KE20, but a KE10 would be nice too. And a certain person's 5K with twin carbs would go REALLY well in such a vehicle. REALLY well. :y:

I need to know what parts to order, as far as I have found out both twincam and non twincam rear struts are same so the part numbers are for both springs and shocks, fronts are however different, I have 4 bolts on the strut tower so I am guessing it is running twinky struts, god damn this shit is stressful.

Was good fun.

Ohh I was talking to Mark Jeffs(Beat the heat) at the cruise They will be entering the XR6T next year, they will be keeping it in full street trim, only thing he said they will be touching is the "valve springs, injectors, exhaust and playing with boost" so with them mods it will be probably running a 12 lol. He also said they will be running a Gemini for the wifes of the Beat the Heat drivers. They will be painting it pink :P
