gemzu Posted August 28, 2007 Report Posted August 28, 2007 bahahaa dork Mmmm chicken and sweet corn soup
ancullen Posted August 28, 2007 Report Posted August 28, 2007 I did my typical lunch - a trip to Coles to buy some discounted bread rolls. Except this time instead of just buying some ham, I got a smoked chicken breast (YUMMY!), some sweet mustard pickle, and some Roast Garlic wholegrain mustard that was reduced to clear. I had some cheese in the fridge, so I made one roll with cheese, chicken, and wholegrain mustard; one roll with just some chicken; and a third with ham, pickle and cheese. VERY yummy, and I've got enough chicken left for one roll tomorrow and more than enough ham to do the rest. All up it only cost $9.09, with enough to do two days' lunch and pickle and mustard to last for many lunches to come. :D
Killswitch Posted August 28, 2007 Report Posted August 28, 2007 Adam, where abouts its the AE71. Might come have a look. How much did you want for it?
ancullen Posted August 28, 2007 Report Posted August 28, 2007 How much did you want to offer? It's in Humpty Doo, and you can come have a look tonight if you want, as I'll be going out there to grab an aircon compressor for Duy. If you meet me in Palmerston, I can drive you out there in the GT-Four. :D
Killswitch Posted August 28, 2007 Report Posted August 28, 2007 (edited) Won't be able to tonight unfortunately, gotta go do shiz. As for dosh, depends if it's as straight and rust free as you say it is. $300 or so maybe? But I suppose I should find a car I can f@$ken drive on the road first. :D Edit, on second thoughts. Does it run, and how far off regoable is it? Edited August 28, 2007 by Killswitch
ancullen Posted August 28, 2007 Report Posted August 28, 2007 The engine turns over, but needs work. The gearbox is pretty much stuff (only third and fifth work). There are some dents, but they're easily fixed. So it'd take a bit of work before it could actually be registered. If you'd only posted a few days earlier you could have picked up the registered AE71 for $1,000.
Pure-SX Posted August 28, 2007 Report Posted August 28, 2007 Anyone know of a ae82 twincam with efi fuel tank. Looking for one currently

ancullen Posted August 29, 2007 Report Posted August 29, 2007 What new stuff Meg? I'm looking at new stuff for the GT-Four. Pity I can't afford any of it. :) First I'll be buying a set of Endless brake pads. :D
wasfishing Posted August 29, 2007 Report Posted August 29, 2007 stop it adam!! no more go fast bits ok
ancullen Posted August 29, 2007 Report Posted August 29, 2007 (edited) I haven't put any go-fast bits on yet. It's only got the stuff it came with from the factory, plus lower springs, TRD short shifter, flywheel, clutch and exhaust. I'm just thinking about: Brake pads ($300) Semi-slick tyres ($1,400) Lower chassis brace (to reduce understeer) ($300) Front strut brace ($200) Rear strut brace ($200) Trunk brace ($200) Negative camber brackets ($200) Adjustable strut tops ($300) Coilovers ($3,000) Programmable ECU ($2,000) Cams ($500) Turbo ($3,000) Boost controller ($400) Turbo timer ($200) Just $12,200. It's not like I'm thinking about any serious modifications. :D Edited August 29, 2007 by ancullen
