well, as it turned out, she did get covered in dust on friday while i was at work. :) i grabbed some pics on the camera (instead of the phone) but can't locate my cable, so no uploads :n: the 195's i put on the back scrub with weight in the rear, so i think i might be knocking the lip outta the way so i can run them full time, as this was just a fun test for the drags...

news from the drags, i manages an 18.851 @ 112km/h, then i snapped the front uni joint of my tailshaft trying to launch too hard :(

How the hell did you manage to snap a uni with a car that runs high 18's!!!!! No offence or anything dude

I've run 15's on all stock K running gear with on boost launches, and have never broken anything on a launch. Only a axle or too at the end of a burnout when it grips on the VHT.

none taken Si...i'm still a huge beginner with anything to do with organised motorsport, as well as illegal driving on public roads.

was pure stupidity. pissy lil burnout for some heat, 5k rpm on the line, no slack taken up prior to clutch dump...*TING* i go nowhere.

haha no worries.

Ya just need to learn how to pre-load your drive drain a bit for drag racing by slipping the clutch a bit - Hand brake comes in very handy here too.

Your clutch won't like you for it much, but the rest of the drive train will love you!! :y:

......in a turbo car this also means on boost launches, as its already loaded up! :)
