7shades Posted August 20, 2007 Report Posted August 20, 2007 I, and I'm sure many of the slightly youth-challenged members of this forum, grew up watching Knight Rider. The crime-fighting car with its many gadgets and pointless-yet-incredibly-cool buttons and lights... Not to mention the Hoff and his fantastic hair... Like every other pre-pubescent car enthusiast I had a dream... to build and drive my very own K.I.T.T. And when I completely loose my mind after winning lotto, it may just happen... courtesy of the Knight Foundation. For all your knight rider conversion needs Bargain! Turbo Boost! whooooooooosh :P Quote
NoPsi Posted August 20, 2007 Report Posted August 20, 2007 That is soooo cool.. I used to watch this and The A Team all the time!!!! Fool! Quote
Raven Posted August 20, 2007 Report Posted August 20, 2007 Lol, I remember watching that show. Why why WHY would you want that car though? :P Quote
mikeys toy[RL] Posted August 20, 2007 Report Posted August 20, 2007 Knight Rider was my 3rd favorite show behind "Fall Guy"(2) and "Dukes of Hazzard"(1) I just bought the first season of Fall Guy Quote
ancullen Posted August 20, 2007 Report Posted August 20, 2007 I've seen some sites where people have converted their cars to K.I.T.T. and K.A.R.R. replicas (K.I.T.T. + K.A.R.R. = kitcar, just thought of that), but hadn't ever seen a full conversion kit available. That's AWESOME!!! I used to love Knight Rider. Knight Rider 2000 (the tv movie) sucked. I suspect the new movie (to be released next year) will also suck - they're using a Koenigsegg as K.I.T.T. 7shades Posted August 20, 2007 Author Report Posted August 20, 2007 Yeah... I saw that and a small piece of me died. Quote

JiP Posted August 21, 2007 Report Posted August 21, 2007 (edited) I can't say that i was old enough to remember Night Rider, but i did catch re-runs of it when pay tv first came in. I liked it. Lets just hopw the movie their making doesn't have suck a gay sounding voice for the car. Edited August 21, 2007 by JiP_01 Quote
ancullen Posted August 21, 2007 Report Posted August 21, 2007 Wasn't the guy that did K.I.T.T's voice always a gay-sounding guy??? Apparently the Hoff will be in the movie - don't know if he'll be Michael Knight or if Michael Knight will even be the main character. Quote
JiP Posted August 21, 2007 Report Posted August 21, 2007 It'll most likely have nothing to do with Michael Knight. Its all about a crime fighting Pontiac. I'd pay to see that. :P Quote
mikeys toy[RL] Posted August 21, 2007 Report Posted August 21, 2007 BJ AND THE BEAR!? I used to LOVE that show when I was like 4!!!!! That and Grizzly Adams I got a little older and CHiPs beat out Dukes for my favorite show Quote
