WGMG: Looking through the sales section and finding people trying to buy shit that was for sale a year or two ago. Funnily enough, they're mostly people reeeeeeally keen on an AE71 pedal box.

WGMG - the panel beaters that are apparently fixing my ute!!!

I didn't want to take it there in the first place, but that's what insurance wanted!!! It's so far out of my way it's not funny!!

So it only needed a front bar skin fitted they had it all day Friday to check what it needed, or so I thought. Dropped it of a 7am this morning "I'll need it for 4hrs" then get a phone call "it's bent a chassis rail" WTF!?!? It scuffed the front bar I maybe hit the guy at 5km/h and they'd checked it Friday!!!! I can't see how it's bent a rail, for starters the airbags didn't go off, the intercooler wasn't touched and the bar reinforcement isn't damaged!! Lazy beggars is what I'm thinking, wouldn't of happened if I'd taken it where I wanted in the first place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You have got to love a good grave dig.

And thank you for pointing out RC's "hardest to understand sentence of the day!" fixed. :)

Mate hammer the insurance company to whom you pay good money to manage this. I've previously gone via them to get proper repairs done, my old hills dual cab went back 3 times, the third time to a different 'approved repairer' because of shit work.

Just use a Nissan/Datsun pedal box, have it in mine, works and fits a Treat

From what model? Surely you must have modified it to make it fit?

I'd almost rather buy a Willwood/Tilton/AP clutch pedal assembly than pay $300 for an AE71 pedal box.

I sold one of my old spare AE71 pedal boxes to a bloke on AE86DC back in 2006 (I think) for $70 including postage (used the work account :P) and when he said that he picked up a pedal box for $70 posted in his thread people gave him shit and said he was full of it.

I don't have an issue with people grave-digging old for sale threads. Just this week someone bumped a thread from 2009 I made and its now resulted in a sale so who cares. If the item is obviously sold and this can be learned from the content of the thread, then a grave dig is inappropriate, but while there is hope I say go for it. That is what the search function is for. Grave digs can yield the best bargains. After 3 years people can be willing to do deals. Thats how Mungi mods got his van for $200. Nobody had bothered to call for ages so the guy just wanted to shift it.

also it is the sellers responsibility to update the thread if it is sold or not.

you can't complain about getting a grave dig if you never updated a forsale thread with sold etc.

Brake master and booster, just drill the holes a bit Bigger, clutch of course cut a square section and mount,

To answer your question, yes but does the trick

Edit. I have the 180SX all 3 pedals

Dial Before You Dig - why the phuck even bother.

Asked for the map of where the gas, water etc etc is buried on the property.

But, noooo, instead i receive very basic maps of where the stuff is located in the middle ?? (or is that to the side) of the street.

WGMG: People who assume I have money because I own my house and have some relatively nice things, then act like I'm being a tight ass because I always say I have no money.

Well guess what, it's because I have NO FCUKING MONEY. The house and nice things don't magically pay for themselves.

WGMG: Exhaust shops that stock stuff all mufflers, resonators. Also how much people pay for such things e.g. a 20cm piece of 5" hollow steel tube bent at 45 degrees (dump tip) for $130.

ʞ©$ɟ I am in the wrong industry.
