Willis Posted March 25, 2012 Report Posted March 25, 2012 run a t18 t50 and see how long it lasts while saving cash for a better diff And eventually a new custom tailshaft lol. Cost keeps getting higher hahaha. Seriously though...tempting. Don't think I'd be able to manage it for under 12-15k though. And that's just not going to happen. Quote
towe001 Posted March 25, 2012 Report Posted March 25, 2012 xv10 camry wide body for the 5s motor and the st141 for the gearbox. Too easy :nervous: Quote
Willis Posted March 25, 2012 Report Posted March 25, 2012 Could just buy an 86...But where's the fun in that? Other than instant track time....With some suspension of course.. Quote
Jono.C Posted March 25, 2012 Report Posted March 25, 2012 WHOOOPS!!! I meant t18 t series diff not t18 t50 :blinks: Quote
Willis Posted March 25, 2012 Report Posted March 25, 2012 Hahaha, yeah. Either way I would still need to have two tailshafts made haha. ʞ©$ɟen tofu sliders...stealing all my parts. So I can't be one either...haha Quote
Jono.C Posted March 25, 2012 Report Posted March 25, 2012 Not neccesarily just get the rear half changed to suit a new diff later on, not all that expensive Quote
Willis Posted March 25, 2012 Report Posted March 25, 2012 And alas, there is a solution to every problem. Except me not having a beams budget hahaha. Well there is, but it won't happen overnight. Quote
Jono.C Posted March 25, 2012 Report Posted March 25, 2012 Sell body parts on ebay. Get good money for a kidney or something! That's got to atleast be a beams package :lolcry: Quote
Willis Posted March 25, 2012 Report Posted March 25, 2012 Good money for MY kidneys lol. Don't think so. I'd rather use a dead rat as a kidney than use mine as a replacement lol. They're ʞ©$ɟed hahaha Quote
Jono.C Posted March 25, 2012 Report Posted March 25, 2012 Better than my liver after a hard Tele Hotel stein session after Tafe on Wednesdays :lolcry: Quote
Willis Posted March 25, 2012 Report Posted March 25, 2012 I don't know about that one...lol. This endocrine system has endured some battles hahaha Quote
ke70dave Posted March 26, 2012 Report Posted March 26, 2012 whast with the police pulling some one over...the person pulls over and parks hard up against the shoulder or where you would normally park. the police car pulls up, but positions his car half on the road and half off the road.... so pasing cars must swerve around, or if its a 2 lane road, those in the left lane have to merge into the right lane to avoid hitting the cop car. am i the only one that has noticed this? anyone have a decent explanation for it? all i can think of is that they are trying to protec themselvs as they stand next to the car they pulled over. but surely creating a traffic hazzard is just as bad. Quote
Willis Posted March 26, 2012 Report Posted March 26, 2012 Yeah, what gives with that? See it all the time. No idea, must just be giving themselves a bit of clearance on the road by making everyone swerve like you said... Quote
