B.L.Z.BUB Posted February 7, 2011 Report Posted February 7, 2011 (edited) Wgmg: getting told I can get an interweb deal then being told I can't then that I can then can't. f@$k you Optus. Blow me. What a waste of two days trying to figure that shit. Also, not having a key to my own house, never been a problem before as I always left my garage unlocked. WGMG : Not remembering I have a key to the garage in my glove box. Edited February 7, 2011 by blzbub666 Quote
Tume Posted February 8, 2011 Report Posted February 8, 2011 WGMG: Some dipstick complained to my head supervisor that I don't do anything and just read books. So got taken into the office by my immediate supervisor and had to listen to him go on for 10-20 minutes on how he knows I work but I have to seem like I'm doing work even when there is nothing to do. Ended up with him just asking me if I thought I should point anything out, so I pointed out the fact that yes, I was reading books... During lunch time. The fact some one has complained about that and bought in something out of context is annoying. Should give them more work to do so they keep their mouths shut! Quote

towe001 Posted February 10, 2011 Report Posted February 10, 2011 After i don't know how many months, i finely got the old laptop back up and running the other day  I find out its still running windows 7rc..... i swear i took it off and replaced it with the original vista. And for some reason or another 7rc just wouldn't remove itself from the computer...... so i formatted the hard drive and its running openSUSE 11.3 and its a bitch and a half to get the wifi up and connected. Going to give Fedora 14 a run next and see how that goes. Quote
towe001 Posted February 10, 2011 Report Posted February 10, 2011 Oh yeah and had to get a new mouse for the laptop cause one of the cats figured the old one was a really great play toy and chewed through the cord. And the new mouse sucks.... The touchpad works better.... Quote

MYSTIK[RL] Posted February 10, 2011 Report Posted February 10, 2011 (edited) WGMG: people who think it easy to do my current job, "all you do is stand there and take money"(which is the easiest part) they don't seem to realise that there is also, stocktaking, orders, restocking the shelves, cleaning(yes cleaning) and that is only scratching the surface :rolls: Oh and lazy mofos who turn up every shift with 1 or 2 minutes to spare and they expect to leave dead on time and do the bare minimum during the shift, not sure where these people are coming from or how they get hired :notimp: *yawn* its only the first day of my working week, I wonder if "going postal" applies to what i'm doing now  as there would definitely be a big boom  :hmm: actually I might go kill something on the 360 instead Edited February 10, 2011 by MYSTIK Quote
cinky Posted February 10, 2011 Report Posted February 10, 2011 mystik totally agree with you there, although I'm not a cashier. I'm a train driver. i sit in a chair for hours at a time and look through a window. apartly thats all i do. not to mention the 3 months of training that i must remember and resight. also the constant risk of running over people. ( yes it has happened to me) the constant thought if i stuff up i get sacked. suffering from stress and lack of sleep. the wife almost taking the kids and leaving because I'm never home ( up to 70 hours a week) only knowing what time I'm starting never knowing what time i finish, which can be any time of the day or night. although i do get paid alot but for what i have to put up with its shit ($3000 afortnight) Quote
