ke70dave Posted September 6, 2010 Report Posted September 6, 2010 shit hope my course isn't like that what course are you doing? i did engineering, and given class sizes of 500+ in lecture theatres, and tutes are optional....there was no attendance issues!! i think i only had 2 courses that required attendance, and the attendance was only worth 5% of the course. i hear alot of teaching/social science courses penalise you heavily for not attending, as the tutes are "discussion" based, and you must participate in the discussion in order to pass the course....its a better way of doing i i reckon, i skipped soooo many tutes and lectures over the years, since there was no real reason to go...but then i would have to cram all that knowledge in at the end of the semester.... (not recommended!!) btw this glandular fever sounds terrible, i got a few mates who had it, i hope it gets better for you rollaboy. Quote
Tume Posted September 7, 2010 Report Posted September 7, 2010 WGMG: A certain person who always seems to end up in trouble and always comes to me to help them out in some way. I mean sure thats fine except for when I find them writing on fb that no one ever helps them except some random dude. Was a tad bit annoyed at that but was willing to ignore it simply because I don't help just to recieve credit. Unfortunately roughly 5 minutes after noticing the post she appeared on msn asking for help with her year 12 homework. Not bad like other things I've had to help with (such as an ex who decided to shoot her front window in) but unfortunately I reacted in a immature manner and told her to go f* herself and ask someone who helps her because I apparently don't. The expected happened with her swearing at me blocking me etc etc etc. So out of all that what really GMG is that I wasn't able to take the higher ground and still be there to help. So now instead at some point I (maybe) will have to sort out how to fix it. Fun... Quote

irokin Posted September 7, 2010 Report Posted September 7, 2010 wgmg - finding wheels nuts loose on your own car! just after you were doing 100kph down the freeway for 20mins! Pfft thats nothing dude. I helped out a mate who had a knock in his skyline, had only bought it from a dealer a week earlier. He was thinking wheel bearings. I pulled the center caps off the wheel that was knocking and two wheel nuts fell out. The remaining nuts on that wheel were lose and about ready to fall off too. Then I checked the rest of the wheels and found all but one or two nuts were lose as well as a snapped stud. Being that it was his new car he'd done a more than a few spirited kilometers in the few days prior. Quote

Especially when that car happens to be YOUR FAVOURITE AMERICAN LAND YACHT EVER http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Buick-Riviera-1973-...e#ht_500wt_1154 The ONLY person stupid enough to pay 48k for that ruined, molested, HORRIBLE car would be some OTHER Lebanese cockhead with no taste.
