Yeah its up here aswell, They got rid of the Q-Ride day course's to stop people from getting their bike L's and walking into Q-Ride the next day to get a full licence, It's actually about time they did it.

WGMG is stressing out like mad then getting an assignment back and getting 13 out of 20 :( especially when a mate who did it last year hardly did any work and can't put a sentence together with swearing or mentioning jack daniels got an 18 :)

 

AND THEN looking through the damn thing and seeing that most of the things she said I wrote wrong or are "unnecessary" and "illogical" are things she said were good or told me to write in when she checked my draft.

What grinds my f@$king gears is after months of not playing I decide to pick up the guitar again and learn a couple of songs. That's all well and good but I decided I wanted to learn Thrice "The Artist In The Ambulance" which has CGCFAd tuning managed to tune a couple to the right note but my tuner wouldn't find the C note on E or the F note on G, and I can't tune by ear, so I gave up and decided to play something with normal tuning, as I was tuning my bottom string back to normal it snapped!!!!!

I didn't even get to play one bloody note :)

Now I am off to the shop to find some new strings and drool over guitars I can't afford

Bring on the BC Rich Warlock!!!

^ Don't know what tuner you have, or how you use it, but for the C on the E set the tuner to Ebbbb then for the rest just have it on ebb. Probably is what you have been doing, but I thought I may as well say it anyway :( And if you restring, get Elixir strings, they are awesome and last along time without tarnishing. (Handy if you decide not to play guitar for a while again). Good luck with the playing though, guitars are awesome :).

 

WGMG: Being out at a job site which is all fine dust everywhere, then out of nowhere having a huge rain downpour turning everything into a massive sludge resulting in Falcon near bogged and the trailer laying in wait for the 4wd Hilux to pull it out. Rain and mud can definitely turn a good mood into a bad one especially when you have to keep going inside and outside constantly. On the upside, altleast we finally got some rain here. Been over a months since it last fell.

WGM'MF'G's is the fact that my area manger decided to volunteer me for a shift to the Holden Hill store!

 

Its further away, going to cost me more in fuel and going to take a shiteload more time to get there!

 

I called him today and told him that I'm happy to do it temporarily until he finds someone else to train up and get up to speed in the store. I even put forward my case on fuel costs and rent etc and he said he would factor that into the equation.

 

Had a chat to my Manager today and he's pretty unhappy with the area manager's decision too. My sales rep said that if it goes for longer than two-three months, put the hard word on him that if I don't get shifted back to Norwood, I'll be looking for a job elsewhere.

 

Holden Hill arent exactly losing any cash as they're making budget each day, so why the hell should I be the one who gets put into yet another uncomfortable situation to please someone else!

 

Don't I have a say in where I go as well?

Just listening to the news and all these placing crying out for staff. As long as your a junior and/or experienced. Reminds me when i was on the dole and being told there's tons of jobs out there.... just look in the paper and job boards etc.... send in a cover letter and resume.... But i don't have what their asking for.... so? send them one... Made me glad they paid for the wastage.

 

Like, wow, KFC needs 15,000 new staff..... yeah 15,000 juniors.... Aldis crying out for staff..... sorry, but you don't have what we need (and it was just a shop assistants position she applied for)

 

 

And having to work with an arrogate phuck that has his head that far up the bosses arse he needs a flash light and compass so that he can find his way home....

Yeah, I figured I might have to do something like that as my tuner's not especially flash. I asked Robert when he got home he told me basically the same thing. I restrung my guitar this afternoon, I just went down to Lander's and got some Dunlop strings.

I am now going to hopefully play guitar :)

WGMG is buying heaps of meat for my camping trip like Scotch fillets, short cut bacon and gourmet italian sausages and I put them in my bar fridge last night and I bumped the cord for the fridge and this morning i went to pack the meat in the eski and its all warm. I'm going to have to throw it all out now. :no2: Its only about $30 worth but it does grind my gears :y:
