Thats another thing that annoys me tho. When the convo gets deleted. I too like to have a record. Especially when I'm dealing with a sale of parts or calendars or something. Definitely when I've quoted on prices too or someone has given me their postage details. So I don't have to fine the first post I can find the last and read the quotes. And when its says there are too many quotes, I delete all but the last one so that there is still a record.

^^^ there's reasons that they can't drive cars like that, what "they" should be doing is learning to drive, yes, even when you get your P's you're still learning! in a slower car, quite simply so you don't kill/main/injure yourself or someone else, have you seen this link yet?

WPMO - people on forums like TOCAU (ie owner forums, not enthusiast forums) who have no clue about their car, can't read a user manual (let alone a service manual) and struggle with even the most basic task like changing oil, replacing the air filter, or even locating fuses.

And then there are the ones who buy a BRAND NEW car like an Aurion or Corolla and then complain that aftermarket companies aren't producing enough parts for them. For crying out loud, the car you just bought is barely off the design-room floor (not even mid-life) and you're expecting there to be a tonne of available aftermarket parts that most people probably don't want, and thus the demand isn't there. They're not Commodores or Skylines, where an aftermarket company will basically design enough parts to make a whole new car within weeks of the model being released, so just live with it and enjoy the feeling of a brand new car before you look to ruin it. If you want to by a car with lots of mod options, buy the previous generation. Still almost new (most will barely be out of their warranty period), but there is 3 or 4 long years that aftermarket companies have had to develop products, and the same amount of time for a market to actually develop

Ohh, and people who make a new thread every time they add something to their car, or there's news about it or something. Just make a frigging member's ride thread, and then add everything that's new into there. It makes it easier for people to see the progression of the car, as well as reducing clutter on the boards and making you look less like a n00b/idiot.

Talking about overrated corolla's. I went to look at one a few weeks back for my brother. It said "overrated condition" "Real head turner" and "looks grate"

Yes i spelt grate because thats what the ad said. 6 months reg and RWC.

Looked at it was another story.

Ae82 $2200 with RWC and reg

Broken drivers mirror

Cd player doesn't work properly

Back speakers wouldn't work

Speaker wire hanging down under dash

Boot lid springs were cut

Didn't start first time, the ad said it does

Said "I actually don't want to sell it with a rwc now"

Sunroof switch was dodgy

Car had not been washed for a few months

Needed wheel alignment

Front tires unroadworthy

Cracked bodykit

Faded black bonnet (he painted himself)

'"What do you think? He said

"A bit rough around the edges mate" i said

"Yeah well what do you expect for an old car mate!"

I was going to negotiate with him but with that attitude i didn't want to bother

Yeah real overrated
