JiP Posted January 8, 2009 Report Posted January 8, 2009 My Mum grinds my gears. She CBF cooking dinner so told me to order Pizza. I told her I was fine with left overs. I even offered to go to the supermarket and buy something. But she said if I did that it would be a late dinner :P So we got pizza and yet again after pizza I am sick and have stomach pains. I told her I would. Dad didn't even touch his pizza and I got him a spicy one. He's the only one that eats shit like that. He hoed into the leftoveres. mmm how I would have liked to eat them leftovers. GOD DAM DAIRY PRODUCTS!!! Quote
dfunkt Posted January 8, 2009 Report Posted January 8, 2009 Waiting for my holiday photos to come back: Here's me speeding in Coffs Harbour Here's me speeding in Sydney Here's me speeding in Albury Here's me speeding in Seymour Here's me speeding in Melbourne Here's me speeding in Tocumwal Here's me speeding in Dubbo Here's me speeding in Coonabarabran Here's me speeding in Goondawindi Here's me speeding in Warwick You get the idea. I swear that Victoria now has more speed cameras the people. They need to change their plates to "Victoria: State of Paranoia" sounds like your trip was like mine, quick :P and yes, not only do we have excessive amounts of speed cameras, none of them are signed, can be f$cking anywhere and in any car (privatised mobile units) and the money from the fines don't go back into improving our roads or making them any safer! has me thinking of a move to adelaide.............it's a scary thought, but it just might be necessary. dF Quote
orangeLJ Posted January 8, 2009 Report Posted January 8, 2009 Just had some friends up from Victoria, I couldnt believe how slow they drove all the time, When I asked Matt why he said all their main highways are 80kph due to roadworks, and that there are so many speedtraps, and camo wearing coppers that you can't speed anywhere! He made a good suggestion for the plates. They have "on the move" on them at the moment, he reckons it should be "on the move...at80kays" Quote
Corolla_Gurl Posted January 8, 2009 Report Posted January 8, 2009 my neighbours are always having domestics and partys nearly every weekend but when i come home from being out at 10pm (which imo isnt that late at all) and they yell at me to "take your *** heels off" cos we have wooden floors. so i spent 5 mins walking around the house making as much noise as possible. dfunkt Posted January 9, 2009 Report Posted January 9, 2009 my neighbours are always having domestics and partys nearly every weekend but when i come home from being out at 10pm (which imo isnt that late at all) and they yell at me to "take your *** heels off" cos we have wooden floors. so i spent 5 mins walking around the house making as much noise as possible. ii know that all too well. block across the road was subdivided, they threw a bungalo down the back like any self respecting bogan would...since then both the front and back "house" have only ever had bogans in them. every 6 months the current ones move out and the new ones move in. enough back story. the current front tennants have a big diesel patrol, which likes leaving at 5am and returning at 11pm just about everyday. they also bought one of their kids a quad bike for christmas, saturday mornings at 8am he starts it up without fail and drives up and down the long driveway for an hour or so. the back tennents have been there for a month, and everynight regardless of weekday or weekend, they crank their stereo. we can't hear what they have going, all we know is that it's bassy, very bassy. it's great when trying to sleep, you can feel your body vibrating to the bass. came home late on wednesday night with nobbler and the valiant. jumped out and chatted for a minute or so. he idles the car down the road until he's just past my house and then takes off with some gusto. i walk down the drive to put the bins out for the next morning before he takes off.as i return to the street with bins in tow, i see the idiots from the back house running down the drive towards nobbler shouting at him. the lovely rumble his valiant made since dropping me off must have piqued their curiosity, or the aggro cells in their brains... i don't think they appreciated the sweet pipe music when he took off, poor souls. when they realise that i'm still in the driveway, they quickly shut up and sauntered off back to their derelict hut. makes me think i should throw the sidepipe back on the ke20 and warm it up before going for my drive tomorrow morning, at 6am :P dF Quote
JiP Posted January 9, 2009 Report Posted January 9, 2009 When I went on my road trip last year we focused so much on our speed limits due to all the fixed cameras in Vic and NSW. But as soon as we got back into Qld it was back to normal. Kinda bad when you think about it. Quote

But as soon as we got back into Qld it was back to normal. Kinda bad when you think about it. when i went to SA for a long weekend, i adjusted my driving to match theirs. things seem to be optional when driving in SA. these are the optional rules i found when driving in SA: indicators to turn down a street or change lanes. amber lights are "stop if you want to" not "stop if you can". overtaking on the left on highways, and over double lines. just meant i had to pay attn to what others 'might' or 'might not' do when driving. Quote
Lexxi[ke35] Posted January 9, 2009 Report Posted January 9, 2009 Thats exactly right. And going 80 in an 80 zone when there is a broken line to overtake and 70 in the 100 zone when there's a double line for 10km. Not fun. Quote
orangeLJ Posted January 9, 2009 Report Posted January 9, 2009 This sort of shit grinds my gears! http://news.ninemsn.com.au/national/716402...t-myspace-party first off, I was under the impression to hold a part and willingly charge admission was against the law (not to mention mr tax man would love to have a chat!) they have no insurance, no building/fire inspections so therefore no fire escapes etc etc. Then the father has the hide to say that the coppers started the problems by trying to shut the party down! we have all been there, at the party when the coppers turn up and tell everyone to shutup or go home. But its only once the shoe is on the other foot you realise WHY they have to do so and the fact that unless all your neighbours are informed and ok with it, then its never going to go down well (much like dfunkts music loving feral neighbours.) to me, something with 200 people in attendance is never going to end well, either when the coppers break it up, or if they didnt, when too much grog and testosterone starts to fire up after midnight (witching hour) Hell, whats to bet the 14 year olds at the party were pissed as newts and half the girls were there to slut themselves around with older guys? But as soon as we got back into Qld it was back to normal. Kinda bad when you think about it. Yeah i know the feeling. When we went down to wagga we took the back way (Newel Highway) and most of it was 110 limit, where as the towns was a 50k limit. The plan was of taking the coast road back home here and was kind of dreading it cause of the speed cameras and their stupid locations and the lowered speed limits around them... Quote
Redwarf Posted January 9, 2009 Report Posted January 9, 2009 Well, I knew the exact moment I hit Qld again. Skill level decreased, aggresion increased. Quote
Corolla_Gurl Posted January 9, 2009 Report Posted January 9, 2009 since we have brought the caldina it must has "Hit me" signs all over it cos we have had way to many close calls. ps gold coast drivers are the worst ever. Quote
towe001 Posted January 9, 2009 Report Posted January 9, 2009 Well, I knew the exact moment I hit Qld again. Skill level decreased, aggresion increased. You should have been me today with some dumb arse victorian behind driving a wanker. Putting it this way i now understand why most people on some of the streets out here hang a little bit further to the left side of a two way road... Its to stop idiots from overtaking you from the left side and once they're in front pull to the middle of your side of the road and slam on the brakes to make a left hand turn Quote
