I sometimes stop in the middle of the road, get out and tell them off,(after a long period of being more than patient with there crap), they soon realise i don't appreciate there reckless and intimidating driving style. :)

Funny.. Ive had my P's only a few days and already I have copped stupid tailgating.. Yeah, i might be on my P's and driving around in Dad's Commodore, doesn't mean I'm a hoon or up for a race or looking to get run off the freaking road.. Keep off my arse.. Or at least buy me dinner first..

But anywhat, went for a drive around town with the girlfriend on saturday and i noticed a 4wd hanging just a few feet off the backend of our car, next moment amber (the gf) tapped the brakes and i almost crapped myself cause all i could see was this huge bullbar baring down on us and then she was back on the gas pissing herself laughing cause the guy in the 4wd was wide-eyed and mouthing the words "OH PHUCK". The guy never did it again....

if you do then you have a lot of growing up to do. As much as it may annoy you to be tailgated at the end of the day they are

doing the wrong thing.. doing a key banger is also the wrong thing and illegal so really your no better than they are.

well i tried slowing even more down, tapping the brakes, staring into my rear view mirror?

 

they didnt stop flicking there lights at me but a nice keybanger made them slow down to a safe distance.

best thing to do is to take their numberplate down and report them for tailgating.

if they get reported twice.. well here in adelaide they get issued with a fine. they'll stop doing it once they start getting fines.

 

jst think though key bangers are freaking loud and one day you may do it to the wrong person and/or surrounding people.

my brother does it all the times especially when stopping at the lights, he gets so close you can't see the number plates of the car infront of you! i yell at him everytime

Some people get used to sitting close to the car in front. I know in traffic, if you leave the slightest gap someone is sure to cut right in....
