I've seen people desperate enough to actually drive around in front and then reverse in. Quote
Tume Posted February 12, 2010 Report Posted February 12, 2010 desperate? I do it quite often. Albiet they are facing the other way aswell so I'm not blocking their exit. Quote

Jason KE30 Posted February 14, 2010 Report Posted February 14, 2010 My car got egged and the tyres let down last night while I was at a friends party. The place was directly across from my footy club so my car was parked right out the front, thinkin that it'd be safe there. And according to a couple of witnesses, the people who did it came out of the footy club. Just makes me very angry to think that it could be someone who I trust that did it. Quote
LukeAE71 Posted February 14, 2010 Report Posted February 14, 2010 Sellers, bad sellers!!! Went and looked at a car on the weekend, got told it was all good to go, drove well etc etc. It was a 2 hour drive out there so didn't want to waste that time. We get out there, getting a bit lost so call the guy for some directions and he doesn't pick up. No problem we keep pressing on. We then receive a text from Seller to say that he is at a friends house 2 hours away and is too drunk to drive. He told us this at the exact time we were meant to be there. So the seller is a rude lazy prick!! That is only the beginning.... We get there (car was there as out of rego) and I told his Mother that we were there to look at the car. She told me he wasn't home so I said look he didn't tell me (yeah I lied, but what the hell) so she reluctantly agreed to let us view the car even though he was not present. First things first the car was filthy, wouldn't start and had a flat tyre. Some effort into presenting the vehicle for sale wouldn't go astray. I got it running and we took the tyre to the servo and pumped it up. Refitted tyre and onto test drive I drive it out the driveway with the auto trans slipping off it's tits, car unable to drive more than 5k's per hour, won't even change to 2nd (2 speed Toyoglide) and well the car is just shithouse. Also while trying to drive with incredible fail I noticed a crack in the windscreen, another item the seller didn't advise of FFS at least be honest in your description of the vehicle. People aren't going to buy something just because they have driven so far they don't want to return empty handed!!! We returned empty handed and extremely pissed off Quote
