trav_555 Posted April 26, 2009 Report Posted April 26, 2009 (edited) WGMG!! Was minding my own with a mate on the dance floor on friday night at the club, just cracking some sweet moves :P And anyway all of a sudden i feel this huge pain on my head and some lad hit me with a bottle square in the forhead then pissed off so i couldnt see who did it! I put my hand to my head and looked at my hand and it was covered in blood so i stumbled over to a security guard and he quickly got me out of there and fixed me up at reception. I owe a big thanks to that guard, but man am i pissed off that the guy hit me with the bottle but wouldnt show that it was him!! PUSSSYS!!!! ARGH!!! Anyway my head is still throbing and i will probably end up with a nice scar on my forehead... Other than that was a good night on saturday and friday night :P Travis Edited April 26, 2009 by trav_555 Quote
SLO-030 Posted April 26, 2009 Report Posted April 26, 2009 Ah shit man, hope all heals up good. when we had riots down here, pretty much anyone that was in the mob was getting bottled :P Quote
trav_555 Posted April 26, 2009 Report Posted April 26, 2009 Yea just sucked because i didnt have mates around to see who did it, and i wasnt doing anything stupid to give anyone a reason to bottle me, just ruined a good night out. But oh well I suppose you have to expect that sort of shit to happen, you take the risk when you go out I guess. Travis Quote

corolla_nut Posted April 27, 2009 Report Posted April 27, 2009 WGMG: Orange! It's a cold miserable shithole that's filled with people who are either really up themselves and can't understand people who are struggling or f@$king idiots who have nothing better to do then make life miserable for everyone else. Apparently some psycho up in Glenroi, in the street we used to live in, staked out someone's garden shed and started shooting at all the houses in the street. The cops went up there, so then they started shooting at the cops, so they had to call for back-up. We moved to what we thought to be a better area. It is, but not by much. But, I suppose, at least we don't have trigger happy people running around trying to kill everyone... WARNING: Don't move to Orange!!! You may think it sounds OK, but it's not. Quote

trav_555 Posted April 27, 2009 Report Posted April 27, 2009 I'm back on the medication that makes me feel sick all the time ;) Oh oh and I hate this weather --> 17 and raining so hard you can't see a metre in front of you when your driving Whats this medication called Alex? A special reason you have to take it? surely theres some other alternative if it makes you feel worse right? I'm loving it here Its nice and sunny, yet not boiling hot :P My moves are fine :P My moves make me who i am ahahahha WGMG, dust, was mowing the lawn with safety glasses and all that jazz but i still got lots of dust in my eyes and it stings a little, starting to stop stinging but meh I'll live ahaha Pretty much didnt have much to wah about O O my head still hurts... orangeLJ Posted April 27, 2009 Report Posted April 27, 2009 WGMG is having to wait until tomorrow to pick up our new dog :P we did over the pounds and the RSPCA on the weekend looking for a pup or young dog but didnt find anything. Instead we are picking up an old dog to give her a good home for the rest of her days :P 11yo german shephard cross, great personality, quite and loving. she is awesome! picking her up tomorrow morning ;) I can't wait! While we were at the RSPCA we found out it cost $350 to adopt a dog under 12months! JEEEEZUS! I understand they have to make $$ to pay for what they do, but that is alot of money, its even $150 for a kitten, then you have to pay to get them registered too! don't get me wrong, love what they do, but there is no way we can afford that for a pup! A special reason you have to take it? surely theres some other alternative if it makes you feel worse right? It has lots of loooooooong different names, there's 2 different tablets I have to take, they're for the thing I had the operation for ages ago and is now just as bad. :P And we went to the specialist and told her they made me sick and stuff and the only thing to reduce it was to take half a tablet, rather than both, but it still makes me feel awful. We bought a kitten from the Animal Welfare league a couple years ago, he was barely even older than they are at the pet shop and he was $65, and puppies were $75. RSPCA is heaps more expensive, but whether they're better or not who knows? You're probably paying for that RSPCA Animal Rescue show :P EDIT: although, you spend more than $350 for a pup in a pet shop or from a breeder, and from the RSPCA they're usually vaccinated, microchipped, desexed etc aren't they? That would easily add up to a couple hundred dollars, if not more, so its not really allll that expensive. Edited April 27, 2009 by Lexxi[ke35] Quote
trav_555 Posted April 27, 2009 Report Posted April 27, 2009 Ahh ok, Alex, i will question later about them and look into them with my various contacts :P As for the RSPCA We have a ridgebackxdingo that we got from the rspca about 10 years ago, the dog was beaten before it got to the rspca, i love the rspca and what they do, and i feel sad when i think aobut the animals, but i don't think i could ever get another dog from there, all the dogs ive seen or got from there are very mentally affected from there experiances. The animals were traumatised and there memories stick with them and i can see it in their eyes when there worried, I am not sure about the puppies as they are so young and may forget what happened, but probably not, its a sad case but they are more trouble than a dog you have from a pup. I don't know if people agree but thats my feeling, WGMG, animal cruelty, it is nothing but wrong, and i personally can't stand it Quote
Lexxi[ke35] Posted April 27, 2009 Report Posted April 27, 2009 I cry everytime I go to a pound/RSPCA etc. Does that count? Quote
love ke70 Posted April 27, 2009 Report Posted April 27, 2009 we got a 6 year staghound x ridgeback. paid 200 i think from the animal welfare league, think the younger ones were around 250. as you said, they come with all the trimmings for nothing, which makes them good value. i think your missing the point trav that alot of people surrender dogs to the pound for a number of reasons. often people going overseas, having to move to a no pets rental etc etc. Alot get rehomed, its only the ones that have behavioural problems that can't be rectified etc that usually don't get rehomed, and from my understanding the number of dogs that are brought in from abuse is actually quite small. LJ, whats the germy crossed with? by 11 the purebreds would be having serious issues with their hips... Quote
Taz_Rx Posted April 27, 2009 Report Posted April 27, 2009 WGMG.......
