Tume Posted January 3, 2009 Report Posted January 3, 2009 The fact that while in Gawler I decided to see if I could just quickly grab a pair of sunnies to wear while driving because it is getting to be a pain not having any. Big W, Newsagents, Cunnos. All have the stupid douchebag sunnies that cover half your face and don't stop anything from the sun. WTF. Isn't there any normal elcheapo sunnies anymore? Quote
trav_555 Posted January 3, 2009 Report Posted January 3, 2009 i reckon, i was looking for avaitors as my old ones broke, and they don't have any that are the proper size, there all too small, need to be big but not to big, I'm very picky with sunnies lately ive had to use my billabong ones that costs lots and give me headaches!!!!! 15 buck aviators all the way! Quote
towe001 Posted January 3, 2009 Report Posted January 3, 2009 Sods, i'd love to be able to wear a pair of sunnies. But oh noooo i've got to wear damn glasses. That what grinds my gears on bright sunny days Quote
Tume Posted January 3, 2009 Report Posted January 3, 2009 Can you get prescription sunglasses or self tinting ones? Unless your on a budget of course. I find I can't even really stand aviators, wrap around all the way. But not douche bag bug eyes. Quote
trav_555 Posted January 3, 2009 Report Posted January 3, 2009 hahaha yea you should be able to get prescriptions i only wear avaitors, o and stole my sis's bug eyes once for a "myschpashe" pic haha, never again. Quote
JiP Posted January 3, 2009 Report Posted January 3, 2009 My Oakleys broke last Wednesday. :y: I too am on the hunt for new sunnies. Its hell without them :S Quote
trav_555 Posted January 3, 2009 Report Posted January 3, 2009 i smashed my oakleys in my pocket a few months back, i lent on a pole with em in my hoodie pockets, i heard a crack, and i was like no, no no no, but yea, never buying expensive sunnies again Quote
JiP Posted January 3, 2009 Report Posted January 3, 2009 Mine had been broken and warped for a while. I just kept popping the lenses back in. I was at wet'n'wild and I knocked myself in the head while carrying the Kamikaze tube up. I couldn't find the lens. Quote
trav_555 Posted January 3, 2009 Report Posted January 3, 2009 thats what happened to my aviators, eventually they got bent and the lenses wouldnt fit in and stay in for more than 5 mins so i threw them away, i want some more! Quote
JiP Posted January 3, 2009 Report Posted January 3, 2009 Well I've decided to buy two pairs next. I like the ones with the metal frame but will buy the plastic ones for work. I think thats where my damage comes from. Quote
towe001 Posted January 3, 2009 Report Posted January 3, 2009 Can you get prescription sunglasses or self tinting ones? Unless your on a budget of course. Yeah can get them ones, but i'd sooner the wrap-around mirror tint style Quote
