andro0o Posted August 13, 2007 Report Posted August 13, 2007 make a custom tailshaft, weld the yoke to the front of your exsisting tailshaft. simple. Quote
anastasios Posted August 13, 2007 Report Posted August 13, 2007 i recommend upgrading to at least a t series otherwise you will break it Quote
andro0o Posted August 13, 2007 Report Posted August 13, 2007 not everyone can afford to shorten diffs cousin. Quote
Jono Posted August 13, 2007 Report Posted August 13, 2007 either pray the front doesn't snap at any sort of speed or use a loop. Quote
cuzzo Posted August 14, 2007 Report Posted August 14, 2007 what area are you in drift pig? i have a tailshaft missing the front yoke for the t50(at the uni joint) to fit the standard ke30 diff. All you will need is a t50 front yoke and get a tailshaft place to put the uni joint on. Quote
LittleRedSpirit Posted August 14, 2007 Report Posted August 14, 2007 If I had to guess, Id say AE71 front section, Ke55 rear. Not sure though. Anyone tried this? Quote
NoPsi Posted August 14, 2007 Report Posted August 14, 2007 I have had plenty of tailshafts made up. You take in the front shaft/uni and rear uni you want to use along with mm distance between the centre of the unis. Then they make a custom shaft from a new tube and weld on your crap. Around $300 at driveline services gets you this plus reco'd unis and balanced shaft. Quote
drift pig Posted August 14, 2007 Author Report Posted August 14, 2007 much appreciated guys. yeh I'm on the coast cuzzo, it wouldn't cost that much to send so how much? Quote
ca18rolla Posted August 14, 2007 Report Posted August 14, 2007 universal driveline services at virigina in brisbane think its bilsen rd. HAd 4 or so made up there take you yokes both ends and they get you to messure from the output shaft to the diff flange and from seal face to diff flange. The will then work out how much to add to that messurement. Think my first one $240 last one was heavy duty 3' tube, super heavy duty hilux rear and a new heavey duty ca18 style front yoke and uni's. was $490 but built foir 500hp I broke the 6cyl style ca18 and hilux unis with 280hp Tell em that rob with the ca18 corolla sent you Quote
