Trent-KE30 Posted August 13, 2007 Report Posted August 13, 2007 Hey guys I'm starting my hydraulic clutch conversion in my KE30, I have got a TA22 clutch cylinder, Now the question is it better using a TA22 Pedal box or modifying the KE30 one? Cheers Quote
nedic Posted August 14, 2007 Report Posted August 14, 2007 hey mate, just an idea what i did was get a series 3 rx7 master cyldinder because it actually bolts up directly to the two bolts in the engine bay next to the brake booster. I then modified the standard pedal box and assemblied the push rod assembly. But in answer to your question i would use the standard peal box and modify it. Have fun taking out, it was an absolute pain in the ass to pull it out. Quote
Ben Dover Posted August 16, 2007 Report Posted August 16, 2007 Hi Guys Is it possible that there was a modle that came out with hydaulic clutch because 1 the bolts are already in my Ke36! 2 the hole is aready through the peddle box for the back of the master cylinder to fit through! might it be possible that the peddle from an ae86 might fit. Or should we be looking in the similar year celica? I'm tring to do the same conversion. Thanks for the tip on the mazda master cylinder. Good Luck Ben Dover Quote
