Hiro Protagonist Posted August 15, 2007 Report Posted August 15, 2007 Does anyone know if the Supra is still in production?? If so it'd still be rear wheel drive right?? As for the gear box they can get it from one of their commercial vehicles can't they?? Speaking of which, here's a useless fact. The Toyota Hi-Lux and the Holden Rodeo are still made by the same company even though they now look differant. Supra has been out of production/sale since 2002 (in Japan) and 1999 (US) If not the same company the same country, which i find funny cause they've always looked a like. Hilux and Rodeo haven't looked similar for donkeys years, and if they ever did its because all the utes looked the same back in those days Methinks you're getting it confused with the Bravo/Courier twins, which are the same ute underneath. Hilux is made by Toyota, Rodeo by Isuzu and then rebadged as a Holden Quote
ancullen Posted August 15, 2007 Report Posted August 15, 2007 They're both built in Thailand. They might be built by the same company, but they'd be completely seperate vehicles with nothing in common. Quote
JiP Posted August 15, 2007 Report Posted August 15, 2007 Got another question. Are all the Lexus vehicles FWD?? Quote
ancullen Posted August 16, 2007 Report Posted August 16, 2007 The only Lexus FWD car ever was the ES-series, which was an upmarket, rebadged Camry. And I'm not sure that the ES is still available, in fact, I'm pretty certain it's not. The current IS, GS and new LS are all available in RWD or AWD. Only RWD is available in Australia, although I think the new LS600h will be AWD only. Quote
