mmmmmmmm, id be definatly putting that carby gasket in first! what gasket is it exactly? any thing missing a gasket to do with the carby=vaccum leak, you checked the points and checked to see if there is spark?

ps. 1974+ke55=no match.

Get an air compressor and blow out any water that may be in the spark plug galleys and in the distributer/distributer cap. Also make sure no water has gone into the cylinders if you have no gasket on the carby..

lol thought i would stuff up somewhere. its the gasket that is between the carby and bottom bit if u get me? i don't really kno carby's very well. but I'm tryin 2 find a gasket for it.... well the small fuel chamber is on the bottom part and the top part has the float and the gasket is in between those 2 parts lol. i will try with the air compressor as that may help a fair bit. thanks fellas
