anyone know if and why they whistle/wine?

 

Its just the sound of the gears/belts because they have straight cut teeth. Just like a straight cut gear box.

 

Most gear boxes have hellical (SP?) cut gears, ie on and angle as it makes then quiet. :wink:

Dude i work 12 hr night shift and i'm 300 kays away from the engine, gimme a break. It will get done as soon as i can get around to it. I want it as much as you guys but my main priority right now is finding a door so i can get it on the road first.

it's just a stocker atm but it's my reliable daily and will be a nice addition to the drive to work :)

Where could i get one for the KE70 hi cam setup

mr trd, yes a ke70 with a 4k-c is the same as any other 4k motor.. keep your eye on this thread for them
