^^^ what he said. nothing nicer that a clean stock interior. if you have too, perhaps some feature parts inside the car could be painted in the same colour as the exterior.

i had a custom interior in my old 71, and its pretty cool and that for a while but after a while you realise what a waste of life it was, you try to keep it clean cuase you killed so much money on it and shit, but it don't happen and then you get pissed off and then you waste your life cleaning it, and then you realise you want buckets and it throws off the look of the car.

you can't win.

^^^^ Hahahaha, Pisser!

Bar the cost of leather and the pain in the ass it is to work with.... well, lets just forget leather.

If you want something easy to keep clean go a nice vinyl, spray and wipe works a treat when its really grubby and turps is great for a wipe over (I'm a trimmer and we use it on everything from show cars to shitters!).

Cloth etc looks good for a while, as with anything it all depends on how you look after it. And some of the new materials are pretty sweet.

My pick with a blue would be a nice off white or creamy vinyl either done in the standard pattern or something with a bit of a custom touch. either that or Black as everyone has said, but don't put bight blue inserts or something like that, it looks cheap!

Saving that, hit the wreckers and find some nice stock seats to swap in, much cheaper and easier to do. Trimming your seats wont be cheap!

my KE30 recently had a retrim in sand vinyl with red suede inserts, with red stitching, sports seats etc. and I must say it came out fantastic. The car is also red so it suits well. Having said all that, it was ridiculously expensive, but still cheaper than leather, as it needs to be purchased by the skin rather than by the metre. If I eva get off my ass and take some photos of the trim I'll post them here. Otherwise look in member's rides and you can just see the inside from a distance of about 5 metres. its under KE30
