HIGH ROLLER Posted July 11, 2011 Author Report Posted July 11, 2011 thanks guys... still a couple more things to do before I'm happy with it, like paint the engine mounts and bracket stuff, put alternator back together, etc. Quote
HIGH ROLLER Posted July 13, 2011 Author Report Posted July 13, 2011 New GMB RWD water pump...picked it up for $18!! Â STILL waiting on toyota for gaskets and seals...apparently tomorrow is D-day  Quote
HIGH ROLLER Posted July 25, 2011 Author Report Posted July 25, 2011 The saga continues... Water pump housing is with my fabricator MLT323 getting the rear outlet welded up and cleaned up. Took my aw11 alternator in to Bankstown Auto Electrics to exchange for a reco one and get the t3 pulley fitted. Turns out I need to get the pulley bored out as the shaft on the aw11 alternator is a little thicker than the ae86 one, so machinist will hook that up. Anyone else had experience with aw11 alternators on rwd setups? Quote
HIGH ROLLER Posted August 14, 2011 Author Report Posted August 14, 2011 Some more progress on the weekend. Painted up the engine mounts and THIS CLOSE to mounting the motor back in the enginebay, but lack of fasteners… Will post up pics and more progress soon. Quote
HIGH ROLLER Posted August 16, 2011 Author Report Posted August 16, 2011 Painted engine mounts:  W58 Before:  After:  Porn shot of my Toyota playground:  oh, and picked up an old RWD hilux diff (the one with straight axle tubes)…so the mad scientist can fix the stuff-ups by KCDR Drivertrains. To all tha haterz who said I couldn't fit the diff in my 2dr starlet:  Quote
