HIGH ROLLER Posted February 20, 2010 Author Report Posted February 20, 2010 thanks for the comments guys... yeah don't worry stas, that's stock height atm...if I have my way with it, it'll be dumped..haha  Did some tinkerin this morning, took out the old brake lines, all engine bay wiring out...slow progress. Quote
StasIII Posted February 22, 2010 Report Posted February 22, 2010 i should come round and have a look mate ? Â yeah don't forget to chop the floor out or your call will never sit like mine. Atm if i didnt cut the floor it would have hit 150% percent Quote
HIGH ROLLER Posted February 22, 2010 Author Report Posted February 22, 2010 For sure i'll be doing a box section in the floor so the diff doesn't hit. yeah you still got my number? give me a call and come around... Quote
HIGH ROLLER Posted February 24, 2010 Author Report Posted February 24, 2010 Was good to see ya last night stas... Stas looks at the car and says: "you've got a long way to go aye"....thanks for the encouragement. HAHAHA all good, slowly slowly. Quote
beerhead Posted February 24, 2010 Report Posted February 24, 2010 Damn, nice mounts. Great to see this beast seeing some light at the end of the tunnel. You still going all out on the motor straight up? Whats the plan for the engine management? Quote
LukeAE71 Posted February 24, 2010 Report Posted February 24, 2010 Is there any chance Simply Maz would be happy to make some more of those mounts and sell them... Â I would be keen on a set :P Quote
HIGH ROLLER Posted February 24, 2010 Author Report Posted February 24, 2010 Luke: well i guess its possible...up to him i guess. i'll be at the shop with Shanon this arvo so i'll ask if i remember.... Â thanks beerhead, I am setting all the support systems (fuel, ecu, turbo, etc) up to push 260+kw, or a 10sec pass, whichever comes first... The motor will run unopened for now, might just do valve springs for the revs (only 80k on the clock) and see what i can acheive...200kw is definately attainable unopened. Once i feel the motor is struggling (or lets go...haha) I'll strip the motor down and do a full rebuild with all the fruit to handle big boost (>25psi). Â that way i'm not spending the money twice. Â Cheers guys, Mark Quote
cuzzo Posted February 24, 2010 Report Posted February 24, 2010 Hey mark, Â What fuel pumps are you using? Â Also are you going to run them inside of the car or outside? I reccomend outside. Quote
HIGH ROLLER Posted February 24, 2010 Author Report Posted February 24, 2010 outside FTW. I have 2x Bosch 044 pumps, and 1x Carter Black lift pump. 1/2inch feed and 3/8inch return hard lines with teflon braids on the bendy bits. Quote
HIGH ROLLER Posted February 25, 2010 Author Report Posted February 25, 2010 Luke: saw shanon last night. he said that he'd also have to modify a K-frame....so if he did do it it'd have to be an exchange thing... Quote
