Tally Posted March 7, 2013 Report Posted March 7, 2013 engine bay is insane and the FR simmons look awesome with the whitewalls! Keep up the good work! Quote
HIGH ROLLER Posted March 11, 2013 Author Report Posted March 11, 2013 Thanks tally, trying my best. once i get it running, i'll strip it down (again!!) for paint. Quote
HIGH ROLLER Posted June 22, 2013 Author Report Posted June 22, 2013 Car has run multiple times now, just idling and revving out getting on boost a little. At the moment cylinder 1 is not firing, so sorting that out at the moment (seems to be an ignition issue). VERY excited to hear it run, to say the least. Hopefully skid pics soon. Quote
HIGH ROLLER Posted July 29, 2013 Author Report Posted July 29, 2013 Engine wiring all done, car has run a many times even if very roughly. Going to do some tidying up of the wiring this weekend, install the dash and send it to the tuners to get it running smooth. 1 Quote
orangeLJ Posted July 29, 2013 Report Posted July 29, 2013 Just sat and flicked through most of the pages of this thread, Took you a while, but looks like you got there in the end, what did you end up doing engine wise? still stock BP? Quote
HIGH ROLLER Posted July 30, 2013 Author Report Posted July 30, 2013 thanks fellas. engine is an unopened early model GZE, bigport with 8:1 comp. compression is healthy and motor had low km so should be ok to begin with. Car is set to be ready for my wedding in June 2014. there will be a few more changes before then. Quote
Doogs Posted August 2, 2013 Report Posted August 2, 2013 Looks spot on, very nice job on the bay! Interested to hear how you go on the dyno. Quote
HIGH ROLLER Posted August 7, 2013 Author Report Posted August 7, 2013 You and me both man....car is now at the tuners for a bit, should have some news in the next couple weeks as I'm very busy with work. Quote

orangeLJ Posted August 8, 2013 Report Posted August 8, 2013 one thing I can suggest.... Buy a catch can. I'm running a little breather on the rear cam cover in the seca, I knew it was a heavy breather, but surprised me just how much it does! I'm just throwing a catch can in at the moment, up until now, the oil mist has just soaked the whole rear of the engine bay in a fine coating (breather can only take so much) Quote
