Jono Posted June 30, 2007 Report Posted June 30, 2007 serious question; my 5 year old nephew really wants me to take him, is it suitable for a 5 year old? Quote
ae71neo Posted June 30, 2007 Report Posted June 30, 2007 (edited) Yes. I saw it last thursday, even took the day off work. It was well worth it! I wouldnt mind seeing it again aswell. Edited June 30, 2007 by ae71neo Quote
Wood§tok Posted July 1, 2007 Report Posted July 1, 2007 there isnt excessive swearing and sex and things like that, but the action is intense and very loud and the decepticons are decidedly sinister looking. (infact i reckon megatron was a compleate rip off of Eva unit 1 from the evangelion series.) in my opinion it would probably be a bit much for a 5 year old. awesome movie none the less. Quote
Pieman Posted July 2, 2007 Report Posted July 2, 2007 (edited) Top marks! It appeals to all ages. Brought back a few fond childhood memories. :lolcry: Edited July 2, 2007 by Pieman Quote
philbey Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 Saw it last night at Southbank on the Imax screen. I thought the movie was excellent and I want to watch it again :lolcry: Seriously, if you're whining about product placement then you might as well never watch a move again. Yeh, you can't see a big budget film without it now. They have been doing it since the first bond films anyway..... They just doing it less tastefully. I'm going to see it tomorrow i think, mainly because Rachael Taylor used to be my sisters best friend lol, Peace, Johnny I went straight home from the cinema and wikipedia'd Rachel Taylor. Damn, shes hot. She' done almost nothing of interest until now and BANG! Hollywood. Great to hear an aussie accent in a big film like that! Quote
mason_ke70 Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 i agree this movies awesome...i was a bit reluctant to go at first as i thought it was more sci-fi...but its all good if u haven't seen it yet you're missing out Quote

2TGEU KE35 Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 any body else want to buy a new camaro?? Quote
ancullen Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 Saw it last night (finally) and it rocked my world. Now one of my mates (BIIIIGGG Transformers fan) and I are trying to work out if they'll do one sequel or go for two straight away (depends on box office returns) and what they'll do story-wise. I suggested Unicron could be involved, and spread it over two movies, but Matthew suggested Galvatron could make a return. Either way, Transformers was AWESOME!!! Quote
ancullen Posted July 4, 2007 Report Posted July 4, 2007 Oh yeah, in case any of you wanted to know, Shia La Beouf (or whatever his name is) - the kid that bought Bumblebee will be playing Indiana Jones' son in the upcoming fourth Indiana Jones movie. If a Transformers sequel is made he will be a busy lad with promos and the like for the next few years. Quote
KE70-from-mt-panorama Posted July 5, 2007 Report Posted July 5, 2007 any body else want to buy a new camaro?? Ummm YES!!! Saw the movie a few days ago, then saw the trailer for the movie and it made me want to watch it again...So i went again a few days later, and the second time was just as good, if not better, than the first time watching it. Have to agree with everyone else in saying if you havent seen it your missing out. Cheers Jake Quote
ancullen Posted July 5, 2007 Report Posted July 5, 2007 The first country to see Transformers was Australia, on 28 June. Sometime before May 7, it has already been announced that a sequel WILL be made and will be released in 2009. It is only just being released in the US, so the studio is damn confident about it's success. Oh, and Transformers has had the second biggest Australian opening day of 2007 (second to Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's Edge) and it was the fifth biggest Australian non-sequel opening of all time. It'll be interesting to see what the US opening and first weekend results are like. The movie 'only' cost US$140 million, so there's a good chance it could make that back in it's first weekend. Quote
