CD_rollaman Posted June 28, 2007 Report Posted June 28, 2007 (edited) Right there with you, although I thought the story was a bit lame in places, but I would still rate it up there as one of the best movies I have ever seen. a DEFINITE must see. If nothing else, for the eye candy. Edited June 28, 2007 by CD_rollaman Quote
Jason Posted June 28, 2007 Author Report Posted June 28, 2007 In some places, but manged to mask it with good humor and f@$king sweet battle scenes  Quote

7shades Posted June 29, 2007 Report Posted June 29, 2007 It could do without all the product placement.... "This Autobot is brought to you by 'Lightforce'. The first choice in automotive accessory lighting for all giant transforming sentient alien robots." Quote
Jason Posted June 29, 2007 Author Report Posted June 29, 2007 I thought that aswell, but then i though about the intense cost of the animations and how fantastically real it all looked so kind of ignored them Quote
7shades Posted June 29, 2007 Report Posted June 29, 2007 (edited) aaah yes.. you see? Its all so pretty and shiny... oooh look at the robots... see them fight, see them save the day... mmmm happy endings make me feel warm and fuzzy.... but now, implanted firmly in the darkest recesses of your subconcious, is a small instinctual reaction that will influence how you purchase driving lights, or softdrink, or fully automatic submachine guns next time you go to buy some, and cars built by GM are really really good.... Nitephyre Posted June 29, 2007 Report Posted June 29, 2007 Saw it last night at Southbank on the Imax screen. I thought the movie was excellent and I want to watch it again  Seriously, if you're whining about product placement then you might as well never watch a move again. Quote
HEKTIC Posted June 29, 2007 Report Posted June 29, 2007 I'm going to see it tomorrow i think, mainly because Rachael Taylor used to be my sisters best friend lol, Peace, Johnny Quote
chrisandliz[RL] Posted June 29, 2007 Report Posted June 29, 2007 but if you watch any other film, if you drive a car made in the US it will roll over and catch fire, killing all the people in the area! I want to see it still, I have my suspension of disbelive with me too. Quote
