7shades Posted February 9, 2013 Report Posted February 9, 2013 It's awesome. It also used to be in a museum... Was owned by Keith Williams. Gifted to him by the CEO of Honda Japan. Quote
LittleRedSpirit Posted February 10, 2013 Report Posted February 10, 2013 Is that Keith Williams that built sea world etc. The tourism magnate? Quote
7shades Posted February 10, 2013 Report Posted February 10, 2013 Yup... Built most of the Gold Coast. This bike was in his collection on Hamilton Island for about a decade, until he put it on his yacht to bring up here when he started the Port Hinchinbrook development. He'd use it to get around the site and nip into Cardwell for groceries. After the development was finished it was shoved in a shed and forgotten about for another 8 years until he died in 2011, until someone took inventory of all the stuff lying around. It was then sold for a pittance to one of the Port Hinchinbrook staff, who used it occasionally but not often enough to bother keeping it. Which is where I swoop in with a small handful of cash :) Quote

LittleRedSpirit Posted February 13, 2013 Report Posted February 13, 2013 Should have told them to grow a pair of eyes cause its under the hoverboard rack and next to the polarity reversing circuit. Quote
