towe001 Posted June 25, 2011 Report Posted June 25, 2011 Should move to Noosa. When i was living there, the rarest sports/supercar was a choice of either the TVR Griffith or the TVR Tuscan. Lamborghini's and Ferraris next on the list. Sitting in me car one day having a good laugh cause some try hard couldn't get his dodge viper into first. Quote

Mmmm...TVR's :) We wanna save weight, who needs side intrusion beams?!? :laff: The guy in the Viper probably doesnt really need first gear, that 8-point-something litre V10 should have enough torque right? :P I believe that was a good friend of mine 'testing' how different his 1JZGTE-VVTi was to the previous 2JZGE that inhabited the engine bay  It just confirms my theory that yes you can go out & buy a fantastic car for $300k plus, but you can also go out & build something that will go better for less than a third of that  I'm not saying Ferrari's, Porsches, Lamborghinis etc are $h1t, I'm just glad I don't have the money as the other road is much more fun to travel :D Quote
clubby2084 Posted July 8, 2011 Report Posted July 8, 2011 Had a friend of mine come for a visit last week. So, had to do the touristy thing and show him around. As Kakadu is there for the sole purpose of the tourist, off we went. Jabiru, Cooinda, Nourlangie Rock & Ubirr in a day. 786 kilometers in one day for $70 in juice (half a tank in Cooinda cost me $50!) My Ford loving friend was very impressed with my Rolla. Kakadu gates. Nourlangie Rock Ubirr Our ride for the day. It sipped fuel and kept us cool all day. I even got a thumbs up at Ubirr Border Store. Quote
7shades Posted July 9, 2011 Report Posted July 9, 2011 Love it. Should start a 'most obscure place you've taken your rolla' thread. I'd need to scan some hardcopy pics of my old KE55 at the tip of Cape York, amongst other places :P Quote
