decoop Posted June 17, 2007 Author Report Posted June 17, 2007 I just rang ozzy tyres, they only come in 15 x 7 and they're 250 a pop. was hoping to get em a little wider, oh well.

Raven Posted June 17, 2007 Report Posted June 17, 2007 (edited) this thread should be framed.not only did raven post something of use, so did casey. I'm in shock! some good info in here cheers, andrew Funny you say that, cos the post above is completely useless. Why bother posting utter bullshit that doesnt help anyone else? If anything, thats post whoring "Andrew" :D P.S. I still don't like you, and yes, you still come across as a complete f**king wanker :) Edited June 17, 2007 by Raven

If you try Techno Toy Tuning you'll find that the 15x7's arent the only size. They come in 16x7's too if thats any help. Only problem is you have to get them from the US of A. I know its not width, but the offset of those on the Techno Toy Tuning website are pretty nice. -9 for a start on the 16's as opposed to a 0 offset on the 15's. Edited June 17, 2007 by Raven
decoop Posted June 17, 2007 Author Report Posted June 17, 2007 (edited) Thanks raven. on a side note i just rang simmons wheels to see how much a set of b45 16" rims were. with 2 at 16x8 and 2 at 16x9 it was $2666 just for the rims :). sure as shit won't be getting them! i'm gunna ring ajps and see how much a set of 15x8" superlites are worth. i really want wider than 7". P.S I'm not looking for rims for the ke10, these are for my ae71. :D Edited June 17, 2007 by decoop
Corolla_Kid Posted June 18, 2007 Report Posted June 18, 2007 Why would you ring them when its been stated elsewhere that you can get them 50 bucks a wheel cheaper elsewhere. Bob-jane, quick-fit, pretty much every tyre and wheel shop sells them new. My 13inch x 6's were only about 120-130 each if i remember correctly.
Raven Posted June 18, 2007 Report Posted June 18, 2007 Decoop - find the number to directly contact Performance Wheels themselves. $205 per wheel.
decoop Posted June 18, 2007 Author Report Posted June 18, 2007 Just did that, the sheila said they don't sell to the public.
kangaroosa Posted June 18, 2007 Report Posted June 18, 2007 Just did that, the sheila said they don't sell to the public. The website has changed within the last few months. It used to have details of their Distributors for each state. As stated, most of the major tyre places are able to order them in for you though.
love ke70 Posted June 18, 2007 Report Posted June 18, 2007 raven, whos to say I'm not a complete wanker? i sure as hell think you are one. why does everyone want 15x8's ? what sort of power are you laying down? i bloody hate mine, have to run a minimum 225 tyre and theyre hard to find in a 15 with a profile to suit corollas. i ended up getting GT radials. which have proved themselves as a good tyre. i went the 225/50R15 to drop the highway revs a little, don't even know if you can get a 45 or 40 profile. theyre not cheap either, and theres no real cheap option. so think about that before you buy an 15x8 to be a fooli-sic-kid
aidaniel[RL] Posted June 22, 2007 Report Posted June 22, 2007 fellas we don't need fighting on these forums ... what would the newbies think ... keep fighting to pm's at least please
Redwarf Posted June 22, 2007 Report Posted June 22, 2007 Dude, nothings happened in this thread for four days. It was assessed and if the protagonists were going to come back and have another go, they were going to be up for tea and biccies with the Mods. They didn't, and everything was nice and quiet. Peace love and mung beans preside, and time to close. :jamie:
