Approx Weight Of Corolla ?

hey all,

 

i know that little rollas are light cars, and so can become pretty quick if

you do up the engine

i am interested in finding out approx power to weight ratios, so could people;

post the weight of their ke, stock and modified, with some rough power figures ?

 

if anyone knows factory weight as well that would be good, as from the research i have done, i

found a fairly wide range (650-1000kgs, and i think this might be a bit out !)

TE37 rally car. 110hp at wheels. About 950kgs.

 

I'd tell you the homologated weight, but I'm not home for a few days.

Rego says my KE70 is 900 kgs, and I've on a site somewhere that a stock 4kc is worth about 60 hp at the fly

My rolla atm stands a little bit over 1 tonne

With 4agze turboed, cooler, r31 diff, w5* box, full street trim.

fair point about the rego label redwarf, i have found that on some of my mates cars,

those estimates look a fair bit off.

Well, I tried to put the car on the bathroom scales, but they broke. So I just read the rego sticker

You could always try driving to the Rubish Tip and use their scales. I went yesterday and it read well over a tonne. Tho i did have a couple hundred Kg's of timber on my roof ;)

my Ke20 will weight about 850kgs once finished, running S5 13BT+gearbox and some nice upgrades ill be looking at 150~rwkw :bash:

 

should be a fun little package on the street with only 175's on the rear ;)
