one thing to keep in mind with colours like that pearly green is touchups etc.

chances are if you have a minor scratch or a bingle on one panel, you will need to respray the entire side of the car to make it all match up again properly.

... or white :)

The number of touchups and resprays Hal has had, I've lost count... Probably doesn't help that the body is flexing so much that the paint keeps developing cracks along the sills and between all the "sections" of the body. I hope a cage will help with this... And then there're the stone chips etc, I'm starting to think I should put some mudflaps on the car...

Probably why rally cars are plain old RED

Nonsense! It's because

a) Goes faster

b) Easier to spot when you end up in a tree. Observe:

story.car.tree.jpg

or

car-in-tree.jpg

See, in both instances, we can easily see the car, because the car is red. Contrast with these two images:

rainbow-satan-tree.gif.

I rest my case...

lol...

thats all good and well but i have no intention on puting my car up in a tree.

heh, even if i did ENVI would be ok, it would save all the embarassment, nobody would know its there....hmm might be able to advoid a few parking tickets, if you can't see it how can you fine it???
