oke020 Posted November 4, 2008 Author Report Posted November 4, 2008 So my mother inlaw needs to borrow my suzuki for awhile so i dragged my ol 20 out, was about 8 pm last night that i found out, all the front panels were in various states of prep for paint, i found 1/4 tin of primer and 1/3 tin of black acrylic did the ol leopard look guide coat special so the panels match. Then had to dig up all the front end plasitcs and stuff, got it all together by about 10pm, interior back in gave it a quick tub and she was ready to go |blink| I forgot how much i enjoy bouncing around in the thing :( Quote
HIGH ROLLER Posted November 5, 2008 Report Posted November 5, 2008 Ur still doing it in the bamboo colour, yeah? will look awesome! and looks really good slammed, LAY FRAME! Mark Quote
PHATKE20S Posted November 5, 2008 Report Posted November 5, 2008 YAY back from the brink of retirement......... Got to love being back in a 20 mate.....i'm jealous Still looks great too Quote
PMP020 Posted November 5, 2008 Report Posted November 5, 2008 (edited) this thing brings back many fond memorys of my past ke20s. dropped to the weeds, pimpin it on the bump stops. its a magical thing. good to see its back on the road. wen you eventually respray it you gotta keep it willow green, its a wicked colour just for some inspiration. this was PMP020 number 2. and this was PMP020 number 1. keep it green :) cheers, scott Edited November 5, 2008 by PMP020 Quote
PHATKE20S Posted November 5, 2008 Report Posted November 5, 2008 Yeah Scott, the green's pretty cool but he's already done the engine bay...... So Bamboo looks like the go i reckon plus it will match the quick one (colourwise) for the first 20metres. haha Quote
oke020 Posted November 5, 2008 Author Report Posted November 5, 2008 Yeah original plan was to have a clone car, been thinking about keeping the green, probably easier to paint the bay again than to change all the interior colours though, can get the engine out in less than an hour in a 20, back in in probably the same + stripping brake lines/electrics not that hard really. Doogs Posted November 6, 2008 Report Posted November 6, 2008 Top shelf mate, definitely keep it green. In my opinion its the best colour that came out on the KE20s. :) Quote
philbey Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 Green, every other KE20 is bamboo! Quote
