Doogs Posted May 21, 2007 Report Posted May 21, 2007 Hey all, I am a new member here on rollaclub, and found the forum whilst browsing google. Late last year i was doing some research about buying my first car (i am 16 and lokking to buy a ke20 in the next few months), and i stumbled across the FAQ done by super jamie. I would just like to tell him and anyone else involved in writing it, how good it is, and how useful it is for a young kid like myself wanting to find out about these cars. It is by far the best thing out there for info, and is full of useful advice. Thanks to it i now have a good idea on what kind of engine work i will be needing to do, to increase performance, on a budget. i would like to recomend it to any newbies out there, like myself, as it is awesome. So well done guys, and it looks like this forum will be of a great help as well. Cheers Doogs Quote
ancullen Posted May 21, 2007 Report Posted May 21, 2007 Nice way to suck up in your first post. ;) Just kidding. Welcome to RollaClub - hopefully one day you'll have some knowledge that you will feel is off value and will add it to the FAQ too. Quote
Xany Posted May 21, 2007 Report Posted May 21, 2007 Welcome mate, bit of common sense around the forums goes a long way. Good to see you've read the FAQ before posting a thread like "how do i get more power out of *insert engine here*".....lol Anyway, again.....welcome aboard. ;) Quote
Xany Posted May 21, 2007 Report Posted May 21, 2007 is that your unbaised opinion..... ;) For me, i say KE30/55 or KE70 for ease of engine swapping......bigger engine bay = bigger engine :bash: Quote
Jono Posted May 21, 2007 Report Posted May 21, 2007 bah, the old technology vs. cubes argument. ;) :bash: Quote
Medicine_Man Posted May 21, 2007 Report Posted May 21, 2007 Good to see you found the FAQ, A lot of hard work has gone into it... Welcome aboard ;) Quote

Tally Posted May 30, 2007 Report Posted May 30, 2007 haha yea I work at kfc lol... Umm well I'm gonna just fix it up a bit, get everything in order... Then I wanna paint it. The original colour was that orange/brown type colour as you can see from the engine bay. But I don't really like that colour so I'm thinking I should just paint it white. Lastly gonna slam it on some hubbies and whitewalls. :sob: Quote
