I had a strange resonant vibration that was really hard to find in a car once. It was the exhaust pushed against a part of the chassis, that transferred engine vibes thru the whole car. At most speeds it was not noticable, but at 60klm/h it made a hell of a noise and shake, so good luck. Are your mounts for the driveline tight?

Some cars the tailshaft has to be installed in the right position to remain balanced - don't know about rollas though. Take it out, rotate it 90deg angd reinstal it maybe.

Oh okay Col, that might be it, cause i did have the tailshaft out, i recently put a new standard exhaust on it myself and it ain't touching anywhere, will check my driveline mounts see if there tight, nah Trev they havn't they are just standard KE30 steelies, they were fine on my other KE30?

thanks guys much appreciated! :-)

That is correct but i think it is mainly when you pull the shaft out and not change anything, His shaft has been balanced and new uni's installed so the question remaining is, How long ago did you do the shaft?

Mine gets a vibration at 60. I've had a look under the car and the tail shaft is loose going into the back of the gearbox. I think there might be a bushing in the tail of the gearbox, or a bearing, that is no good any more. Reach under the car and try and move the tailshaft both ends. If there is movement or clunking then it's either uni joints, or the bearings either end

Ive had this problem before,(not saying this is the problem with your car) i also checked every thing like wheel balancing etc etc, believe it or not it was as simple as a perished gearbox cross member mount, when i drove the car over 80km an hour, the whole car would vibrate, hope this helps! ;)

Cheers phatke30!,

I will get under the car tomorrow and check it out, the guy before me used to tow alot of stuff with it so I'm guessing the driveline may have had a hard life, In regards to my tailshaft, i work at an engineering/engine reconditioning place, and i had them balance and put new uni's in the tailshaft about 1 month ago, I just pulled it out and didn't realise about putting it in the same way,

Cheers Guys! ;)
