What Engine To Do?

hi all

 

I'm looking to get a new engine put my corrolla with in the next 18 months. Ive got a KE55 and have no idea what to put in it. i was just wondering which one would be the best to do if you were on a budget???

Theres some easy power mods you can do to the stock engines (weber, cam, exhaust) or if you want to get serious there are some engine swaps that are common. Theres a thread in here somewhere with a KE55 running a CA18DET (1.8L nissan silvia/180sx turbo motor). 175rwhp is an easy achievement.
