Redwarf Posted March 31, 2007 Report Posted March 31, 2007 (edited) Hello all. Just want to guage the interest of running a Defensive driver training day. This would be a defensive course, not an advanced course, concentrating on braking and steering. Aimed towards the newer driver, but still a benefit to those that have been around a bit. No prices at the moment (however one instuctor will be FOC ), and I'd say that it would be held at Willowbank somewhere. Anyone? Edited March 31, 2007 by Redwarf Quote

Nitephyre Posted March 31, 2007 Report Posted March 31, 2007 Could be fun pending dates/cost... but anyhow I'm off to my V8 Experience today whoooop whoooop :D Quote
Wood§tok Posted March 31, 2007 Report Posted March 31, 2007 we did one of these at lakeside a while back and it was a great day. i can't recomend it enough for 'new' drivers as it gives you a chance to push yourself and your car beyond your limits in a safe environment. its always good to know how hard you can turn in before the car turns to much hehe. cheers. SoulSearcher Posted April 2, 2007 Report Posted April 2, 2007 you guys do know that if you (or your parents) are insured by AAMI and UNDER 25 you can participate FREE OF CHARGE in a defensive driving course (held by AAMI) AND then they give you a discount on your insurance, FOR LIFE!
