Trev Posted April 14, 2007 Author Report Posted April 14, 2007 Yeah i have looked into a few options but i thought i might aswell run the GE setup, I have prices on the RWD stuff: ALTERNATOR ADJUSTER STRAP 4AG RWD EA $ 24.93 ALTERNATOR BRACKET 4AG RWD EA $ 187.00 WATER PUMP & BACK HOUSING 4AG RWD EA $ 154.50 I'm not bothered about spending the extra but now that I'm out of work i gotta find the money to do it.
beerhead Posted April 14, 2007 Report Posted April 14, 2007 wow those prices aren't that bad on the altenater gear, I'm pretty sure I've seen people on AE86DC fork out over $250 for a RWD mount, nice find.
Trev Posted April 14, 2007 Author Report Posted April 14, 2007 Thats from road and track near my house, I suppose it also comes down to availabilty aswell.
Trev Posted April 15, 2007 Author Report Posted April 15, 2007 (edited) Just a little update this time since i don't have anything else to do to it as yet, I took the seats and centre console out and gave the carpet a good clean aswell as the rear seat and put it back in (the fronts are still sitting out of the car). I also mounted the boost controller switch today: For loss of traction please use this: I cut the earth and starter motor/fan power plug assy off the old fan relay board: And stuck it up under the glove box, I can now plug the AE71 starter motor wire into it and now have 6 earth outputs: With everything put back together you'd have to know your E7's to know its not factory: Edited April 15, 2007 by Trev
