Hi there fellow rollaholics...

Just a question if anyone knows

wether or not u can put a sr20det in a ke20 and have it registered (engineered)...

Also, in australia was there ever a four door ke20?

I have a mate with a sr20de in a ke20 and had no problems, You might have a few hassles getting the front mount engineered though.

i'm fairly sure that in the rules book for NSW you can only go up to a 1.9 litre turbo for cars up to 800kg.

i agree with anastasios i have a ke20 coupe with a ca18det coupe. i live in the ACT and have spoken at length with an engineer and once i have bigger front brakes and the disc rear apart from all the fiddly emmissions stuff it will be easy to engineer.

well guys i hate to rain on everyones parade here but you can get a sr20det engineered into a ke20 in NSW. In the early k series you can go up to a 2.2L engine, I'm currently doin a sr20det conversion into a ke11 and have spoken to numerous engineers that have stated it wont be a problem, ive also been in touch with the rta and as long as its all engineered everything is sweet.

thats good news. i have actually seen the table in a rule book which works out maximum engine size for certain weight cars, at but it may be out of date.

its strange that the rules have become more relaxed and not tightened up.

i wonder if that means rotaries into ke20s in NSW again!?
