Is there any written history of early Australian Corolla models/basic specification ?

I've tried Specialist Motoring Bookk Shops and libraries, but can't find anything

Perhaps someone could tell me,or show me where to find , detail on when engine and gearbox sizes changed during the progress of KE10's through to KE70's, and the dates involved, also when wheel/hub sizes changed, also when 2 and 4 door/coupe/wagon/van options were sold

Possibly there's a web site with this info, but ,again, I havent found it

Thanks Pete

maybe just ask your specific questions here I'm sure someone will know

ok thanks guys, just a couple of questions, how many different engine sizes between KE10 and KE70 ?

When did they go from 4speed to 5speed manuals and from 2 speed to 3 speed autos?

When did the hubs change from 100 pcd to 114.3 pcd, and have all wheels been 13"? Thanks Pete

there was the 1 litre K motor first up

then the 3K 1.2L

then the 4k 1.3L

was all the ke corollas ever saw.

there is also a 5k available from other cars that will bolt in. 1.5L

and a 7k from hiaces 1.8L

i believe up to the ke20 series they were 110, and after that, so ke30 onwards they were the 114.3

13's i coudlnt tell you

and 5 speeds were never a given, just became an option later on in life, not sure how late. i know 55's and 70's got 5 speeds as option, and i think ke30 did too??

I thought it went :-

KE10's had the K engine (1077cc)

KE20/30/50's had the 3K engine (1166cc)

and the KE70 had the 4K (1290cc)

at least I think thats the way it goes
