driftke70 Posted January 9, 2008 Author Report Posted January 9, 2008 well i realised its been AGES since i have been on here, even though i recently wacked a rolla club sticker on the back of my custard angler, anyhoo, the build is almost finished, I'm very happy with my little rolla at the moment, chasing a bit more power etc, clean her up a little etc etc etc etc etc etc etc. Anyhoo here are some pics and a video from queensland raceway Quote
LittleRedSpirit Posted January 31, 2008 Report Posted January 31, 2008 So you put the cam gears on, are you on aftermarket ecu now? Quote
HEKTIC Posted January 31, 2008 Report Posted January 31, 2008 this car is overrated mate! and i WANT those centrelines ;) Quote
driftke70 Posted April 13, 2008 Author Report Posted April 13, 2008 its funny because in most of my photos you never see the front rims. Quote
driftke70 Posted May 11, 2008 Author Report Posted May 11, 2008 (edited) well the car is being rebuilt at the moment some stuff to note gen 3 3sgte w box revamp of front coil overs and brakes, mazda fc calipers rear coil overs using custom mounts etc full cage spray job bucket seats rims with semi slicks up front average stuff out back for obvious reasons. rebuild of rear end tighten lsd using full st205 dash and cluster etc rims are 14x8 - 16 ssr front 14x9 -20 rays rear, tyres front are 195 45 14 s595 evo rear are various 195 50 14 bolt on guards pretty much have everything i need, just waiting on a sump from a fella in syd, and a clutch FORK for for a 2s bellhousing if anyone out there has one. piccie poo's Edited May 11, 2008 by driftke70 Quote
driftke70 Posted May 11, 2008 Author Report Posted May 11, 2008 they were all stupidly priced and rooted. gen 3 3sgte has more power much more torque, more reliable, easier conversion, keeps it in the family, power curve suits drift better, got a good price on it, doesnt use half a tank for one run, can trust it going un trailered to the track, keeps my engineer happy for what ever reason, etc etc etc Quote
Roo Posted May 11, 2008 Report Posted May 11, 2008 got any pics of these rear oilovers? I'm using trd based coilovers with s13 hats Quote
driftke70 Posted May 11, 2008 Author Report Posted May 11, 2008 havnt made them yet, just tossing ideas around at the minute, ill either just get tokicos and nice eibach rated springs, and much around with my wheelbase a little bit, ive got adjustable 4 links, so ill play around with them. Nice panard and sway bar. But ive seen a setup made recently relatively easily and cheaply that caught my attention, will be looking further into it. Quote
